TBA camps are designed for all climbing levels. Kids will learn a variety of climbing skills such as body awareness, technique, and problem reading through fun games and activities. Campers will also be able to participate in playful yoga classes, game time, and have personal climbing instruction from the teachers. Join us Friday October 23rd-Sunday October 25th for an unforgettable weekend learning about our culture & faith. Retreat is a great way to take a break from city life and connect with one another, ultimately making memories that will last a lifetime. Our topic for the weekend will be: Who am I? Who are we? Please keep in mind that the weekend is designed for ACYO members that are 18 years of age or older. $65 Per Person There is still room in the van driving up to Senior Retreat from the Diocese in Southern California. Please email [email protected] for a link to purchase your spot on the van! **Please note due to the recent fire activity around camp we are asking for those driving not to make any pit stops at the scenic locations on the road up to camp. Give your kids some FUN FUN things to do on their days off from school....you can enjoy Black Friday and Super Saturday...while we make some Super Gifts and not-so Black holiday decorations. Full Event Name: SUMMER CAMP - 6-Day/5-Night Multi-Sport Adventure Camp for Navigators (ages 12-19) Two sessions: June 26-July 1, 2016 and August 14-19, 2016 (Sunday through Friday) Location: Errol, New Hampshire Tuition: $1,165 pp, all inclusive: 15 meals, guided day trips, equipment rentals, outdoor educational activities, local nature & history talks, and transportation from North Conway to Errol, New Hampshire, and back. Max. Enrollment: 10 Starts: Meet in North Conway at 1PM on Sunday. Ends: Back in North Conway at 4PM Friday. Description: Travel with your wilderness leaders and new friends into New Hampshire's Great North Woods at a riverside campsite and navigate through the Northern Forest with adventure-packed experiences. Safety, fun and learning is what it's all about! Hike the boreal forest. Mountain bike a gentle gravel road along a clear mountain stream. Kayak calm currents and/or exhilarating whitewater (challenge by choice). Look for moose during an evening "moose tour." Stargaze with a telescope. Try your hand at fly fishing and target archery. Have fun orienteering and geocaching. Survival and backcountry skills lessons are included, such as map & compass, animal tracking, purifying water, starting a fire, outdoor cooking, obvious wild edibles, and building an emergency shelter from natural materials.
