Retreat 2016: Endurance - Proclaiming the Everlasting Kingdom - Naches
Each year the WGBC youth and guests spend 3 days in fellowship and under intensive instruction in the Word. The program includes worship services, bonfire fellowship, games, and various activities. This is a unique opportunity to establish new friendships, renew the old, and serve each other. But the most important aspect of this retreat is the time during the services when young people will be united in worship. Another great blessing of this time is the opportunity to interact with our pastors who will be there with us the whole time. This year's theme: The book of Daniel was written to encourage the Jews in exile by revealing God’s program for them. They are reminded that God is sovereign over the affairs of all rulers and nations. A key aspect within the overarching theme of God’s kingly control is Messiah’s coming to rule the world in glory over all men (2:35, 45; 7:13, 14,27). All of the kingdoms of this world will come to an end and will be replaced by the Lord’s kingdom, which will never pass away (2:44; 7:27). Though trials and difficulties will continue for the saints up until the end, those who are faithful will be raised...

2017 "Send a Kid to Camp" Kick-Off Event - Greensboro, NC
Our Annual Giving Campaign “Send a Kid to Camp” program provides scholarships for underserved, underprivileged, deserving kids to attend summer camp and participate in valuable outdoor education opportunities. Many children never have the opportunity to experience the magic of camp and it is our goal to ensure that every child has this opportunity. Camp helps kids to do better in school, lessening the detrimental effects of summer learning loss and builds invaluable self-confidence. Plan to join us for a fun evening of dinner, auctions, entertainment and stories from our amazing campers and supporters, and help us send more kids to camp! Table sponsorship and (a limited number of) individual tickets can be purchased here: https://crm.bloomerang.co/HostedDonation?ApiKey=pub_1804e166-8e23-11e5-85c2-0a1b37ae639f&WidgetId=2558976 More details on table sponsorship can be found here: http://campweaver.org/wp-content/uploads/sites/9/2016/11/Kick-OffSponsorshipLevels-6.pdf More details on supporting this event can be found here: http://campweaver.org/send-kid-camp/ Thank you for your continued support!
