Sewing camp is a wonderful opportunity to learn a new skill that will last a lifetime! In this sewing camp, your child will learn a variety of hand-machine-sewing skills. They will learn to comfortably use the sewing machine and practice basic sewing stitches. We will make projects such as pillows, iPod holders, tote bags, aprons, draw string bags, book covers, water bottle holders and more. As a final project, campers will learn the art of quilting. We will provide all the colorful, beautiful fabrics, and the materials. On Friday, the campers will prepare snacks and lunch as part of their camp experience. Frostproof Church of God Youth Fishing Tournament - Lake Wales, FL
THERE WILL BE A BASS TOURNAMENT to benefit the Frostproof Church of God Youth Department on the Kissimmee Chain September 24 out of Camp Mack. Entry fee $40 per boat, plus $10 for biggest bass, with $25 going toward payout and $15 to the church. Third boat partner ages 15 and under free. First and second place payouts guaranteed. ALAS is hosting the first ever annual Cinco de Mayo youth soccer camp for boys and girls ages 4-14. The attendees will have the opportunity to learn from NJCAA Division 1 Athletes and UIL State participating MP Tiger Alumni. These two beloved community organizations will come together to mentor your child, work on their technique and develop their skills. Take advantage of this great opportunity. Join Miami Dolphins Linebacker Jelani Jenkins and 10 NFL players for #TheUltimateFootballCamp! This is a non-padded, light contact camp, aimed to improve youth football IQ through position-specific techniques, fundamentals and skills development. For the last 19 years, Eastside Soccer Camp has been recognized as the premier youth day camp in Metro Detroit. Designed and directed by Hall of Fame Coach Thaier Mukhtar, the camp welcomes over 600 boys and girls from schools all over the tri-county area every July. Coach Mukhtar has designed his camp to ensure that every player receives maximum attention and exposure. Players will spend the week learning the game the right way, working hard, and having fun. Junior Adventurers: Outdoor Explorers - Junior Adventurers!
Calling all junior adventurers for another summer of discoveries! In this half-day camp, your sons will enjoy all that The Heights campus has to offer. With beautiful stands of native tree species, numerous bird boxes, and a room full of past discoveries, there will be no lack for exciting new areas of learning. Two days will be dedicated to the animal kingdom – mammals, insects, reptiles and more. Another will focus on seeds and plants. – we cant live without them! Two days will also be devoted to experiments and discovery, bringing their knowledge to life. In the course of daily adventures around campus, campers will climb the trees theyve heard about and capture the insects theyve drawn. With a take-home booklet filled with artistic learning exercises, your son will be drawing on his discoveries from this camp for years to come!
