Week 9 PM - Hartley Adventures - NESS
Prerequisite: Hartley Level 2 or equivalent learn to sail class Lets go Sailing....Grab a partner or sail solo in this exciting class designed to get kids on the water as quickly as possible. This class is the perfect opportunity for students who know how to sail, who want to get out there, to simply go sailing. Students are introduced to more advanced sailing techniques, basic navigation and will work on improving their overall comfort with sailing around Stonington Harbor and Fishers Island Sound. Hartley 12s will be the primary boats for this class. Students may also be introduced to sailing 420s and Sonars as part of the class. 860-535-9362

Residential Elite Camp Coach Rob Czlonkas Elite Camp is by far one of the most exciting camps we offer. This camp attracts players looking to take their game to the next level. During this camp players will focus on both the technical and tactical sides of the game. Players will be shown how to improve their individual foot work as well as how to read the game and react accordingly. In the end, this camp gives each player an inside look as to what it takes to play competitive college soccer and more specifically what its like to be a member of the NSU Mens Soccer Team. NSU coaches will be providing primary instruction and evaluation however various other college coaches representing a wide ranging of programs from Junior college to NCAA Division I maybe in attendance as guest instructors. Goalkeeper Academy As Part of the Advanced and Elite Camps, this camp is designed around the specialized training of Keepers that is required for the players positional development. This will prepare goalies that are passionate about the position for what the college game requires. So youre a veteran of Beginner Climbing Camp and you want to learn more about the technical side of climbing? This camp is just for you! Learn new skills including rappelling, advanced climbing techniques, and much more! As always, on Fridays we will be climbing outdoors, returning to the Recreation Center by 1:00pm. No camp on Wednesdays. Four-day camps are offered in three sessions running June 13-August 12. To register for this program, participants must have attended a Beginners Climbing Camp within the past 3 years or must receive approval from a Climbing Wall Instructor or the Outdoor Programs Coordinator. For questions, please call the Outdoor Programs Coordinator at 970-547-4324. Upon successful completion, climbers may move to the Advanced Climbing Camp. Suggested personal equipment for outdoor climbing day: Comfortable shoes for approach, water bottle, snack, wind/rain jacket, extra layers, sunscreen/lip balm, hat and camera.
