2017 SP Youth Camp - Tyler, TX
For our 2017 youth camping trip we will be going to Tyler tx , we will have two or three shelters to stay in. This year's theme will be Deep waters , and deeply rooted. There will be different rules this year and alot more fun , God is preparing something amazing for us this year. I'll have the packs ready to go by the beginning of February. Volunteers are welcome please inform me by May 10th if you wish to help out. All donations are welcome at anytime , or come to one of our fundraiser to pitch in. We will need prayers so please be in prayer about the youth and what God has in store for us!!
Sexual Assault on the College Campus ~ Not My Kid! - Webster, NY
Summary: The biggest mistake any parent can make is to pretend that sexual assault will never happen to your child - female or male. If you are starting a college search this year, it is important that you understand this issue and how any college your student may be considering addresses it. The problem is real and widespread: 1 in 4 college women reports being sexually assaulted and, since 2014, over 180 complaints against colleges have been filed in Federal Court for mishandling sexual assault complaints. Join us to learn about sexual assault on college campuses, find out why it's come to the forefront now, and what you need to know to assess campus safety (policy, culture, Title IX violations). We will also discuss affirmative consent and alcohol/drug use. As the high profile Brock Turner sexual assault case in Stanford pointed out, "20 minutes" changed the trajectory of two young lives forever.
7th Annual Youth Acting Camp & Production of "Tom & Huck!" - Brooklyn,
ACT-OUT! Acting School proudly announces Our Seventh Annual Youth Summer Camp and Production of "Tom & Huck!" The Story of Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn (all roles in "Tom & Huck!" are open, and may be cast to actors of any age 3-18, any race, or any gender). Since 2007, Act-Out! has been providing Bay Ridge & the Greater Brooklyn Area with world-class acting instruction at very affordable prices. We have served students of all ages and levels of experience, from beginners to Broadway veterans. Led by NYS-Certified drama teacher and Award-winning actor John Stillwaggon (see below for brief biography), students learn physical and vocal preparation, improvisation, line memorization, stagecraft, action/obstacle work, as well as character and scene analysis. Students and parents have reported vast improvements not only in acting ability, but in such life skills as conflict resolution, goal-setting, teamwork, discipline, memory, and self-esteem. At the close of the two-week camp (students meet for four hours each weekday), the student ensemble performs a full-length, original theatrical production. Students experience vast growth as artists and as human beings, and lifelong friendships are made. Final Kid's Camp Meeting - McKinney, TX
This is a mandatory final camp meeting for all parents of kids who will be attending Kid's Camp this year. We will meet directly following 2nd service in the Gen Kids Room. The remaining camp balance and concessions money is due at the conclusion of this meeting. Additionally, the Camp Waiver form will be provided at this meeting. We will discuss last minute details, things to pack, and answer any questions. Light snacks and drinks will be provided.

Get yo’ camp on and help us send kids to camp! The 2016 fundraising event welcomes over 500 guests for an evening of cocktails and small bites to ensure underserved kids have access to summer camp. Funds raised offer youth the opportunity to develop leadership skills, increase self-awareness, build self-confidence and develop meaningful, life-long relationships.

Everyone loves a Country Fair! Campers will put together a good old fashioned country fair. On Friday, parents and friends will be invited to enjoy all of our hard work. Exhibit crafts we made *Work with and show off the farm animals *Sample homemade farm foods 860-535-8171

A variety of sports will be introduced including floor hockey, soccer, basketball, volleyball, baseball, and more! We will also play smaller, team-style sports such as dodgeball, kickball, capture the flag, and other schoolyard style sports. Campers will go on several sports related field trips throughout the summer. All campers will receive a camp shirt and must bring a sack lunch and water bottle to camp each day. Camp will be held outside, but well also have some indoor activities in the gymnasium. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- No camp 7/4. Sing songs, play games, make puppets, create backdrops, write poems and act out your favorite scenes from these incredible stories in this fun filled, magical, literary adventure.
