Spark those curious minds and imaginations this summer at the Children’s Museum of Evansville (cMoe!) cMoe camps offer quality experiences and are led by certified teachers. In addition to the weekly themed activities, campers have daily exploration time in our museum. All full-day camps are available to children entering 1st-7th grade for the 2016-2017 school year. YOU ARE REGISTERING FOR CHAMPION CLASSES AT TPC ON WEDNESDAYS FROM 6-7PM The Champion Level Program is for players looking to expand their golf skills, improve on-course play, and, for players who may be interested, playing high school golf. The Champion Program focuses on short putting, long putting, short chipping, long chipping, pitching (high shots), pitching (low shots), posture and best routines, grip basics, club face control, driving success, iron consistency, hybrid and fairway metals and on-course strategies. Our lesson plans will go more in depth in etiquette, rules of golf, golf skills, shot making, and begin discussions for those that want to pursue local competitions. Camp Kaleidoscope - Field Trip Camp Session 2 - Veterans Memorial - Recreation Center
Camp will offer youth, ages 6-10 years old, a wide range of activities to keep them active during the summer months. There will be ten sessions of camp, each one week in length. Five sessions will have a featured field trip and five sessions will have a special event or a wild life animal presentation. All costs, including transportation by charter bus for the featured trip, are included in the cost of the camp program. Children will also enjoy activities such as arts & crafts, outdoor games, indoor games, music & drama, special events, cooking projects, bowling, movies, swimming, hiking, and much more. A schedule will be given out the first day of each session. Children will be divided into age groups. Each group will be assigned a leader and a junior leader or leader in training. 5th-8th Grade Summer Basketball Camp - Kittery Community Center
This camp is aimed at the more experienced player looking to improve on his/her skills. This camp will be instructed by Traips Varsity boys coach Jeremy Paul, and varsity girls coach Scott Blake. Those who attend will enjoy learning the fundamentals of shooting, ball handling, rebounding, passing, defense, and team play. In addition you will have some fun and challenging competitions, a basketball camp t-shirt, a continuing basketball workout schedule for when the camp is over, and excitement.
