Please come support our community and our Local charity this month, located 325 E North 9th St. in Shelbyville. Come help support this great cause. Please come help this wonderful charity and enjoy 20+ vendors as they will have their booths open at 6:00pm to shop etc. and then the auction with 60+ items will begin at 6:30pm. Hong Kong Pizza Party is an invitation-based event. That means we are open to the public, but those who hold a printed invitation get a significant price break. We are limiting the attendance to only 120 this year. Get an invitation from one of our volunteers or select performers and RSVP as instructed in order to guarantee your admission. Teen Dance Camp (ModernContemporary) - Clarks Summit, PA
This camp will introduce Modern and Contemporary movement to each student. Contemporary choreography will be presented along with classical technique to advance the dancer's knowledge. A dance showcase will be offered for the families on the final Saturday at 2pm. THURS : PreK & Kindergarten Program - The Story of King Midas - The Philadelphia School
Join us for a fun-filled day experiencing an interactive storytelling adventure about the myth of King Midas! Each student will decorate a golden mask and participate in recreating the story. Students will also learn about Turkey and the cultural traditions of the land where King Midas once ruled. We will also explore the rich and colorful patterns of Turkish tiles, and each student will design and decorate their own tile to take home. A mid-morning snack will be served. Choice indoor and outdoor activities will be offered, as well as a walk to Taney Park, weather permitting. Please pack a lunch (including a beverage) in a disposable bag. For the safety of our students, please DO NOT INCLUDE PEANUT BUTTER or any nuts in your childs lunch. The program will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with drop-off available in the yard beginning at 8:00 a.m. (at no extra charge). **Extended day is available from 3:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. for an additional $20. The focus for the young ones is fun and exciting games to build confidence and teach the fundamentals of soccer. Players cover ball familiarization, small group dynamics, coordination skills and social interaction, all with maximum participation in a fun oriented environment. The program lasts 3 hours a day for 5 days. Each child receives a t-shirt and certificate at the end of the week!
