I cannot put into words how much CK has meant to me and I can't wait to relive the experience. Camp was easily the most life changing and happiest time of my life. With that being said....I'm back again!!! Back to plug how amazing this org and non-profit is and back to fundraising for the kids. For those of you who may not know, Camp Kesem is a camp for children's whose parents have been affected by cancer. Camp is their chance to live freely as children without any of the weight and worry of cancer. I'm so excited to embark on this journey again and can't wait until the countdown to camp begins!!! Summer Camp 2016 is at Twin Rocks Friends Camp, August 1-5 for Middle and High School students. Students will participate in activities including basketball, volleyball, octo-ball, ping-pong, billiards, disc “Frisbee” golf, miniature golf, Spring Lake for swimming, canoeing, and blobbing, and have life-changing moments including services with Donnie Moore and high energy worship music. The entire camp is designed to build relationships and experience the presence of God. Don’t miss it!

Back to School Boot Camp: Fourth and Fifth Grade CurriculumGet your mind and body fit for the school year with this unique experience. Join Mr. Chad Hamilton and Mr. Ben Spencer, both credentialed teachers, for their Back to School Boot Camp! The program combines academic tutoring and athletic activities. Reading, writing, and math skill building will be alternated with athletic activities to prepare incoming second, third, fourth, fifth & sixth graders. All curriculum will be aligned with Common Core Standards. Students will be given optional homework, needed literature and academic materials. Parents will be given an opportunity to share their childs needs prior to the camps introduction so curriculum can be individualized. Students will use the athletic activities and games to guide academic projects. Think calculating averages, graphing and sport related literature. Boot Campers will receive one-on-one and small group instruction! Enlist in the splish splash mission to get a taste of kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, and surfing practice safely in the harbor.
