Growing Scientists: Animal Adventures Why are some animals furry and others feathered? How does a snail move? What does an owl eat? Have an up close and personal encounter with some of the animals at CuriOdyssey and learn about their amazing adaptations such as how they eat, where they sleep, and where to find them in nature. Go on an adventure to find tiny creatures living around Coyote Point Recreation Area. The world of animals will be revealed in this wild and wooly, slippery and scaly camp! Growing Scientists must be at least 3 years old by June 1, 2016, potty trained and able to use the bathroom independently. Teen Leadership Weekend - Pelham, GA
How to defend our Faith. Jan. 20-22, 2017 Grades 7th-12th Cost: $60.00 We want to invite all 7th-12th grades to join us for a weekend as we look at how to defend our faith. We will spend time in Bible study, team building, break-out sessions, and recreation. We will look at: 1. Why defend my faith? 2. How do I know Christianity is true? 3. Is God real? 4. Can I trust the Bible We will also have break-out sessions discussing: 1. Why does God allow evil? 2. How to share and defend my faith at school. 3. How to prepare a bible study/sermon. 4. How do I balance sports and faith? 5. How do I have a quiet time? 6. Evangelism tools: using different tools to share the Gospel. Endless Summer 80's Beach Boot Camp Bash - Ocean City, MD
Come one come all.. the season is almost over and it is time for the locals to have a friendly competition. There will be 4 events to compete in. Teams consist of 4- 6 people and must be even numbered between male and female participants. The biggest attraction will be an inflatable obstacle course set up on the beach! The second event is a tray carry competition on the beach- try not to spill! The third event is our rendition of ski-ball- each person will have 9 mallets to try to score the most points. The final event is a flip-pong competition...2 of our favorite activities mixed into one flip cup and beer pong. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams. There will also be prizes awarded to the best dressed 80's team. Jagermeister and Natty Boh will be sponsoring the event. Mug & Mallet will have happy hour prices all day to keep everyone fed and hydrated!!! The cost is $75.00 dollars a team and proceeds will go to the Ocean City Downtown Association. This is the first year trying this event and we are really looking forward to making it a huge success!
