They will use the demonstration kitchen, eating the food they harvested and prepared. An additional treat this year is a visit to see the goats and chickens! EBI Basketball Spring Break Camp - April 4-7, 2016 - Hidden Valley Fieldhouse
Spend your Spring break playing basketball with EBI at Hidden Valley location Bellevue Boys and Girls Club. This camp is taught by Felicia Johnson. Each day will practice skis such as dribbling, shooting, passing, defense, etc. All skill levels are welcome. We will end the day with a scrimmage and some fun games. This is the HALF DAY option for Young Chemist. It is time for Glues, Brews and Goos! From our stock pile of hundreds of recipes and formulas, we have chosen our top favorite chemistry activities. Campers will love exploring and examining the results of these crazy chemical concoctions! Campers will also realize the importance of measurement and sequencing, especially as they create some edible experiments! (If your child has any food allergies, please make sure to include that on your online registration form). These exciting experiments are sure to delight and spark the science minds of our youngest little campers, ages 4 and 5. Sample Projects: Invisible Ink, Funny Putty, Magic Bubble Paint, Make your own Chewing Gum, and much more! Our pre-k half day camps are 9am-1pm with pre camp options available as well! Renaissance is excited to provide an exciting, hands-on experience to teach students the basics of computer programming. The camp is available for rising 2rd graders-rising 6th graders. Students create their own games, learning modules, animations or interactivities using a programming language developed by the M.I.T. Media Lab. Elementary Beginning Scratch PLUS Legos: Fun With Programming Do you have a camper who is passionate about technology? Has your camper always loved building and working with Legos? Now, your camper can experience the best of both worlds in a new camp. In this class, campers will build with Legos but also learn how to use the program Scratch to make characters called Sprites dance, walk, talk, and interact with other Sprites on laptops. Scratch makes it easy for students to become a program designer and write top-notch programs that feature animations, stories and simulations. Its the easiest most exciting way to become a 21st century programmer! This is a weeklong camp combined with Lego building, which uses both a fun programming and building environment.
