New Horizons Summer Day Camp is open to ages 5-11 only. Each week will feature team sports, arts and crafts, daily swim lessons, individual sports, fitness activities, a special event and a trip. ALL campers are carefully supervised by Recreation professionals with a ratio of 5:1 or better. Camp meets from 8:30am-4:30pm. Pre-care and after care will be available under separate registration shortly before camp begins. This weeks theme is THE BEST OF THE BEST? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: If cancellation is made prior to April 15, 2016, a full refund, less a $25.00 processing fee, will be made. FCYD Camp is proof positive that being diagnosed with diabetes means you have to live a sheltered life. We tried to tell that to our daughter all the time but she never really embraced the idea until she found herself surrounded by kids in her same situation. Big Kid on Campus
Do you know or have kids that have in some way been affected by cancer, whether that means they have battled it themselves or have loved ones that have? Would they enjoy spending a day at Georgia Tech with college students? Then bring them on out to Georgia Tech Christian Campus Fellowship for Big Kid on Campus, a Saturday full of fun! We are hosting a day full of fun entertainment and activities including games, crafts, makeovers, kickball with the Georgia Tech Softball team, and even an appearance by Santa! If you are interested in volunteering to make this happen and spend the day with these wonderful kiddos, you are also welcome! The Mighty M Games - Forest Service Park
Join Mountain Adventure Tours for the 4th Annual M Games (the MAT version of the X games). This camp will offer participants of all levels an opportunity to have fun and develop some new skills in a variety of areas. Campers will practice and play a variety of team and individual sports throughout the week, including stand up paddle boarding, sea kayaking on the reservoir, relays, limbo, biking, swimming and trekking. The Futsal Kingz camp is a great way to help your child improve their technical ball skills and level of play. Players will learn new skills & tricks every day from our professional coaching staff and have a great experience, whether theyre the next Ronaldo or trying Futsal for the first time! Futsal is a fun, fast-paced 5v5 soccer game, played indoors within the lines of a basketball court (no walls), using a small, size 3, low-bounce ball. All About Me: Self Portraiture 3-5 (Monday) - Janney Elementary School
Students will learn how to create images of themselves while making self-portraits. They will practice close observation with mirrors as well as correct use of proportion, shading, and tone. Projects include realistic self-portraits in which students will attempt to achieve likeness and ab- stract portraits inspired by modern artists.
