If the answer is YES, then you need to part of this exciting and fun summer cooking camp This fun and action packed 2 week class would get started with students learning the basics of cooking and gradually increase to more advanced skills. Students will learn the art of baking and decorating a variety of Quick breads, Yeast breads, Cakes, Pies, Cookies, as well as how to marinate and make simple, balanced stir-fry meals for vegetarians and meat lovers. CrossFit HighGear offers two JumpStart camps to choose from! KIDS CAMP runs from June 6 - 10 while TEEN CAMP runs from June 13 - 17 both from 10 am - noon. Registration includes a t-shirt and daily snack! Campers will participate in a strength and conditioning program that combines gymnastics, body-weight calisthenics and weightlifting elements. Participants learn to move their bodies and move them well, making them fitter and more resilient day to day. We focus on quality of movement before we push intensity. Regardless of age, ability or experience, campers benefit physically as their bodies adapt and become stronger, faster and more flexible. Admission is $2 and that includes admission to the aqua park and splash pad + FREE sunscreen station + FREE snacks + FREE bottled water. We'll also have a pool noodle obstacle course set up for you to try. If you complete it, you can get your name on the leader board and be eligible to win cool prizes!

Outdoor Painting Adventure - Main Campus
Enjoy learning how to paint outside, En Plein Air, with Harding Middle School Art teacher Amanda Penecale. We will learn how to prepare our materials, take field notes, and paint on location. The camp includes a nice field sketchbook. Campers will create studies with colored pencils in their sketchbooks and then make finished paintings using opaque watercolors. We will remain on Hardings campus and we will study the trees, the stream, and the architecture. 6159487005.0

Stories on Stage provides the perfect opportunity for budding young actors to develop their confidence, creativity and acting skills. We will play fun theatre games, explore a variety of characters, and act out stories...on stage! Our end-of-session showcase will include performances of short childrens stories. 217-689-1493
Robot Mechanic-Gayton Baptist - Gayton Baptist Church
Campers will learn about the science of robotics with historical information, discoveries, and advances in robot technology. Newtons Laws will be emphasized all week and each camper will receive three robot kits to work on. Campers will be able to take home their remote controlled robots at the end of the week! This year Club SciKidz will be featuring our 3-in-1 All Terrain Robot kit and our 14-1 Solar Space Fleet. In addition to these projects, campers will learn how to solder with our LED Robot Blinker. The skills learned such as wiring, gear building, and soldering will allow campers to go on to more sophisticated robot creation. The 3-in-1 All Terrain Robot is a multi-function tracked mobile robotic kit. Utilize different track modules and make your robot transform into 3 amazing variations: the forklift, rover, and gripper. Using the wired controller, command the robot to move forward, backward, turn, grip and lift. The 14-1 Educational Solar Robot Kit is an innovative solar powered science kit that can transform into 14 different robot modes. Summer Camp @ La Pintoresca Group C (11-12) - City of Pasadena
This is a 6 week camp that will run from June 27-August 5 from 8-6 pm. (Excluding 4th of July) This traditional camp is high-quality, fun and affordable. Activities include arts and crafts, physical fitness games and challenges, dance, visits to the onsite library at La Pintoresca Park and swimming. Campers play basketball, soccer, volleyball and softball. Instruction is also offered in golf and tennis. Campers are escorted to Robinson Park Recreation Centers swimming pool for recreational swim two times per week. Staff go into the water with the campers and certified lifeguards are always present. Fun field trips are often the highlight of the week. Trips are an additional charge and are scheduled for once a week. This camp is a good fit for active campers who like sports and group activities. The ratio of staff to campers is 1 to 10. Campers are grouped by age, and lunch and a snack are provided. Camp culminates in the annual War Games in which Washington Park Camp and La Pintoresca Park Camps compete in a series of challenges to determine an annual camp champion.
