My 11 year old daughter loves to participate in archery, swimming, kayaking, crafts, boating and hiking. She has developed a love for nature along with improved social skills. Overland Kids Halloween Party
Mark your calendars, put on your costume and join us for a fun spooky night with all your friends. We will have costume contests by age groups, pizza and a drink for the kids, scavenger hunt, games and prizes, and candy! This is a free, safe, indoor trick-or-treating event open to children ages 2 to 12 of Overland Residents, Overland Business Owners, and City of Overland Employees and their families. Parents are required to accompany their children for the entire duration of their stay. Registration will start on October 1st and will end on October 29, or until the maximum number has been registered. This event will be held on Friday October 30 in the gymnasium at the Overland Community Center from 6-8:15 pm, with check in time between 5:45 – 6:45 p.m. only. All participants must be in costume and donate at least one can food item to enter the event. Register on Oct. 1 and be one of the first 175 overland kids entered into this year’s extraordinary Kids Halloween Party.

Science Quest Summer Inclusion Camp 2016 - Hammond, IN
Science Quest: Summer Inclusion Camp 2016 We have partnered with the Challenger Learning Center of NWI to offer three Tuesday camp experiences on June 14th, 21st and 28th for all kids, teens and adults with varying abilities. Siblings, friends and neighbors are welcome! Age Groups: Students entering kindergarten-age 10 will meet from 9-11:30am Students ages 11-adult will meet from 12:30pm-2:00pm Tuesday Classes: June 14th: Astronomy June 21st: Animals and Bugs June 28th: Magnets and Electricity There is a 20 person limit per class! The cost is $10 per child which includes all three sessions. Parents are required to stay with the younger group. Buddies will be available to give our groups extra help. Karma Kids Winter Break Camps - Nags Head, NC
We are opening up our doors just for the kids this holiday...because your children should have a place they want to go and have fun with their friends! We will have Karma Kids Winter Break Camps at The Studio December 19-23 & December 26-30, 2016 from 8:15am-5:15pm. We will celebrate the upcoming holidays with crafts, games, yoga, mindful activities and more! We will get outside for scavenger hunts, build ginger bread houses and explore yummy foods in our holiday food wars contest! Weekly fee is $155 and we do offer daily drop in for $45 per day.

Debate Camp Post Care Post-Camp care will be offered at the Plainsboro Recreation & Cultural Center from 3:00 to 6:00 pm C hildren may bring snacks with them. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Post camp is only open to children entering grades 6 - 9 who are registered in debate camp June session. Girls Sports Camp - Leaders-in-Training Program - Germantown Friends School
The Girls Sports Camps Leaders-in-Training Program combines a classic counselor-in-training program (focused on assisting younger campers) with leadership training activities. Under the direction of GFS Physical Education Department Director, Deb Brackett, training sessions will address such questions as, How do you know when to lead and when to follow? What are your emerging strengths as a leader? What makes an activity fun for campers? Are you prepared to handle unexpected situations? Can you take on the responsibility of leading warm-ups, cheers and other activities? Do you know what it takes to become a successful athlete yourself? LIT Program participants will work directly with campers and support both the camp director and the senior counselors in the daily activities of Girls Sports Camp. Get ready for a week of fun, adventure and sports! Go Tigers! ROAR! Swims at the Germantown Cricket Club add to the summertime fun! This camp is open only to GFS students. ADV Robotic w/ LEGO EV3 - Faith Lutheran Church
Using LEGOs New EV3 Space challenge Set and Activity Pack, campers are introduced to robotics with a very current and real-world theme-traveling and living on Mars! Campers will work as scientists and engineers as they progress though a set of lessons, challenges, and projects that fully integrate science, technology, engineering, and math concepts while prompting creative problem solving, communication, and teamwork. Campers will learn the basics of gears to help them apply physical science and math principles to build effective robots. They will also progress through a series of missions in which they investigate, observe, calculate, and apply their knowledge to solve specific tasks. Our space engineers will conduct research as they explore, plan, and develop three fundamental challenges NASA engineers and scientists are working to solve-how to endure humans can survive in space, how humans can create energy in space, and how robots can help humans explore space. 713-589-8958
