On the MOVE is a bootcamp for kids ages 5-12 which helps build strength, increase skills such as jumping higher and running faster, improve coordination and motor skills, and establish a strong foundation of self-esteem and confidence. Our unique combination of obstacles, agility ladders, hurdles, reaction drills, dodge ball, running games and fun movement accessories makes this a hit for all fitness levels. Each builder has his or her own kit! Interactive building and programming models is the newest educational frontier for kids that love building. Kids build a series of models such as an alligator, lion, helicopter, soccer player and more. Builders work together to build and program their model to move and make sounds. LEGO We-Do Robot Construction The LEGO® Education WeDo introduces young students to robotics when combined with the LEGO Education WeDo Software v.1.2 and various Activity Packs. Students will be able to build LEGO models featuring working motors and sensors; program their models; and explore a series of cross-curricular, theme-based activities while developing their skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics as well as language, literacy, and social studies. A portion of each day will be spent in the piano lab, and students will have the opportunity to learn a song or two on the piano during the week. Piano skills are not required to register as instruction will be tailored to individual ability levels. Students entering grades 1-3 are invited to join Mrs. Mott and Mrs. Croll for an action packed camp full of engaging and fun music activities.
