Summer Camp '16 is just around the corner, don't hesitate to invest in your future, so get registered today. Jr. Camp dates will be July 11-13, ages 8-12. Registration will be $75 and the deadline is July 1st. Any registration received after July 1st will be $100. Our theme this year is "Defenders of the Kingdom". Our camp speaker is Kari Lineberry, she will not disappoint and your kids will leave rejuvenated. Sr. Camp dates will be July 13-16, ages 13-18. Registration will be $150 and the deadline is July 1st. Any registration received after July 1st will be $175. Our theme this year is "Losing my Religion". 3rd Annual Fireworks Fundraiser "Celebrate and Laugh" for Avengers Fre
The Avengers Mentoring Organization (501c3) presents it's 3rd Annual Charity Fireworks Fundraiser for our 5th Annual Summer Camp! Our FREE summer camp serves 300 children ages 6-13 in and around the Metro-Detroit area. This daily camp runs from July 11, 2016-August 19, 2016. Locations are: The Golightly Education Center (5536 St. Antoine) and George Crockett Academy (4851 14th St) in Detroit. During the camp, children are involved in team sports such as: volleyball, basketball, kickball, baseball and more, arts and crafts, group mentoring, outdoor recreational play and are also served by a mobile dentist. Meals are provided by Good Samaritan Food and is run by up to 25 volunteers! Field trips are also optional and available! This year's theme is "Celebrate and Laugh," the fireworks is a tradition in Metro-Detroit, get a magnificent view of the fireworks at One Woodward on the 19th floor! Enjoy a barbecue style meal, laughs by Comedians Mic Larry and Simply Shanell and enjoy the sounds of singing sensation and recording artist Johnyce! There will be music, dancing and many activities, as well as a VIP charter ride to and from the event! But most of all, you will be a part of helping the Avengers...

SUNDAY MAY 15th at Osbourn High School football fields in Manassas 9:00-12:00 kids ages 4-15 Football agility drills,blocking,tackling techniques,running,kicking,speed and agility and much more !! $25 per child on site registration first come first served. IN CASE OF STEADY RAIN CAMP WILL BE RESCHEDULED FOR A LATER DATE. RULES: * $25 per child CASH ONLY no checks or credit cards *Parents will not be allowed on the fields but may watch from outside the fence. Summer Junior Golf Camp-Session IV-Intermediate Camp - Heather Downs Country Club
Heather Downs CC is proud to offer the Summer Junior Golf Camp This clinic is open to intermediate golfers, both boys and girls, ages 11 and older. 45 minutes will be spent teaching the basis fundamentals of putting and chipping at the practice green and 45 minutes will be spent at the driving range teaching the mechanics of a proper full swing. Director of Golf, Dan Sutton and Assistant Professional, Grant Bollin will be on hand to lead the instruction in an enjoyable atmosphere for all participants.
