Armed with the power of magic you can do anything! Take a ride on a dragon and imagine you have magical powers. Build your own magic wand, compile a spell book and mix potions, all within the walls of our magical school of art. Exploring clay, drawing, painting, 3D construction and more, participants will complete an assortment of individual and group projects in each weeks theme, culminating in a showcase at the end of each camp, followed by the unveiling of an installation at our 9th annual Fall Out of Summer Arts Festival in September. 401-490-9475

Youth America Summer Camp 2015 - Oklahoma City, OK
If you have been invited to this page, you are either a student or parent of a Rise Up aged student. Once again, Rise Up (6th-12th grade) is going to Youth America for camp this summer. The cost is $225 per person. The dates are July 13th-17th. We have broken down the $225 in to 3 payments to help your budget. February 25 - $75 non-refundable deposit due April 15 - $75 payment due June 17 - $75 payment due If you have any questions, contact Mikel Flanders.

$8 per person (this will cover the cost for food) $12 per tent, per night We had to cancel our camping trip in July due to bad weather. We have rescheduled this event for August 19-21. If you didn't sign up before and would like to go, please see Nancy Horton or Renee Blackwell. Each child must have a parent or guardian attend this camp with them.

We will spend time in Bible study, team building, break-out sessions, and recreation. We will look at: 1. Why defend my faith? 2. How do I know Christianity is true? 3. Is God real? 4. Can I trust the Bible We will also have break-out sessions discussing: 1. Why does God allow evil? 2. How to share and defend my faith at school. 3. How to prepare a bible study/sermon. 4. How do I balance sports and faith? 5. How do I have a quiet time? 6. Evangelism tools: using different tools to share the Gospel. This program is devoted to educating youth about the importance of healthy living. Participants learn about nutrition and physical fitness through informational speakers, recreational activities and field trips. Participants must attend the first and last week of the program. Parents of participants are required to attend 3 meetings to educate the family on the program and teaching healthy living at home. First parent meeting is June 1st from 6-7p at Banner Childrens Medical Center. Parents are required to attend the pre-camp meeting to sign health screening waivers and receive the camp calendar. No refunds are given for this program. A medical release form must be completed by a physician for each participant by the end of the first week of the program.
