Students learn how to build video games and animations using MITs Scratch Platform. Together, with global partners, students and teachers from a developing country, students take turns learning about each other. Students will play and hack each others games, and share animations. Students send weekly video messages to their virtual pen pal from a partner school. Partnering with Techsplosion here at BASIS Independent Silicon Valley, come explore the world of Minecraft with us! Junior Minecrafters will have tons of fun as they learn the basics of the world famous game. Well learn about the different game modes, how to craft some crazy contraptions, and even build an awesome house together! In between sessions of computer time, well do other fun Minecraft stuff like papercraft, a camp-made costume party, outdoor games, and on Friday, a Minecraft potluck party!
