Programmable Speed Bots - Wow Science - Voorhees
Using iOS and Android devices, campers will program a robot to do many tricks, including pulling off ollies--a trick where a skateboarder or snowboarder can jump into the air without ramping off something else. This robot can pull off ollies, do a quick spin in place, speed boost while driving (called grabs), jump around like a hot potato, pull off wheelies, or rocket across the room and turn on a dime before zipping off in a new direction. All this as campers have fun mastering basic concepts of programming. Bring your cell phone if you have one. NOTE: THIS PROGRAM RUNS MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY FOR A HALF DAY. The Satellite Prospect Camp offers boys, currently enrolled in 9th-12th grade, a positive developmental soccer environment. This camp will take place on the beautiful campus of Northfield Mount Hermon School in Gill, MA. This location provides the opportunity for prospective student-athletes in the Northeast region to train and be evaluated by the University of Michigan soccer staff. Field Players and goalkeepers will work directly with the University of Michigan mens soccer staff to experience the daily training environment of the University of Michigan mens soccer program. The camp schedule will consist of on the field training, small sided and larger sided games, strength and conditioning and lectures regarding the recruiting process with academic and athletic components.
