Sounds of Silence is a guided program designed specifically for infants to two year old children. It is a time for parent and child to leave the noisy, often over-stimulated world and connect through gestures, body language and facial expressions. The class moves slowly and calmly creating a safe, relaxing environment for very little people to experience our ranch and the wonders of Mother Nature. With no chit-chatting from the adults, there is a distinct and beautiful emphasis on what each child is noticing and how they are interacting with that plant, rock, animal or new friend. Throughout Sounds of Silence, the Barn Faerie shows and models a myriad of ways to support you and your young child in seeing, hearing, touching, smelling and awakening to the natural world. Kid's Camp is from 9am-11am for players ages 7-15. Cost is $20 to participate and also includes an event t-shirt and a hotdog and a water. Bring your glove!!! Registration is open! Forms will be available in the Evart Middle School office. The Home Run Derby will begin at noon! Contact your favorite Varsity player to purchase a baseball. This is a Corps wide invitation to join us as we kick off the Spring semester by building relationships with Jesus and community with each other. Spring Break Youth Art Camp - Hartselle, AL
We are excited to announce we will be having our first ever Youth Art Camp!! This will be a 3 day camp for 2 hours a day from 10am -12pm. Each day your child will learn a different form of art and create their own masterpiece to bring home. We will also provide a light snack each day. This will be a great learning opportunity for each child with a creative mind. I will have limited spaces. The fee for this camp is $60 a child for all 3 days. If you think you would be interested in signing up your child you may call the store @ 256-754-5018 and place a $20 non refundable deposit to hold your childs spot. The remaining balance will be due on march 21st. This camp will be offered to any school aged child. If there are any questions please feel free to call or message me.

This camp is a week long session where players are expected to have previous tennis experience. The players will be grouped by skill level and will be given the opportunity to improve their skills in a fun and encouraging atmosphere. The daily schedule will consist of match play, drills, competitive games, individual time with the coaches, footwork training, strategic thinking, and pool time. Players will work on the following: groundstrokes, volleys, overheads, serves, singles and doubles play. Each day Players will learn new techniques and different ways to approach their opponent in a match. Players will be faced with constant challenges in a way that will only increase their passion for tennis. This camp will help further develop the players skills, giving them the confidence to continue playing tennis. Hannah Jones, a member of the Saint Marys School class of 2016, will be leading this summers Tennis Academy. She has been playing tennis since she was a young girl and has a passion for this sport. Hannah has been on the SMS Varsity tennis team for three years and is also involved with many extracurricular activities in and outside of school.
