Feeding Frenzy: March 22 YUM YUM..its feeding time at Ecoadventures, and theres no better place to be! Crickets, worms, mice, flies, fish,..you never know whats on the menu, but its sure to be gobbled up!! Feeding time at EA is a busy, busy, day and we need your help to make sure all the hungry mouths get their fair share. Throughout the day, a few participants at a time will go behind the scenes with the EA staff and assist in animal husbandry and care. Throughout the day the feeding frenzy will continue...you might see a snake swallow its meal whole, a croc do a death roll on its lunch, or a chameleons long tongue rocket out to grab a cricket. Learn about carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores, and how animals eat. Play games, make a craft, and even a few snacks of your own as you will definitely work up an appetite! Teen weekend is for youngsters age 12-17, and campers have the option to bring a friend of the same sex and approximate age. This weekend program allows for interactions amongst peer groups, as well as a learning experience for campers without diabetes. The Ponte Vedra Inn and Club Junior philosophy defines a Long Term Athletic Development Approach. This development is laid out within our Junior camp offering focus on three areas: Fundamentals, Learn & Train to Play and Learn & Train to Compete. Within the Level 1 curriculum, students will focus on the basic fundamentals of the game and swing, short game analysis, life values and how they relate golf and entry level contests. **This class will be longer due to travel time for the bus. Students will leave here at 3:20pm, Class is from 3:45-4:45, the students will return to campus around 5:00pm. Grades 3-5 This is the camp to take your child?s lacrosse game to the next level with a focus on technique and agility. Our coaches help elevate their game through drills, conditioning and scrimmages. Campers work on ball handling, fast break and transition skills and participate in daily contests and games. Come and enjoy small-sided games and more individual and team competitions. Please bring lacrosse stick, mouthguard, helmet/goggles, protective gloves, water, lunch and a snack.
