Classroom: D-8 Instructor: Active Reading Center () This reading class is designed for first and second grade students who have difficulty learning to read in traditional environments. We utilize play activities that help emerging readers learn letter sounds, and blend those sounds into words. All teaching is done by trained teachers from the Active Reading Center. A brief evaluation of each students abilities will be provided at the end of the session. Students may be recommended for work with a reading teacher on a one-on-one basis. Class size is limited to six. Priority will be given to students who have not taken this class. (7 classes) 415-314-1749

The kids are back to school, missing summer and looking for some fun in the community! Bring them out to our back to school event! Activities will Include: Playground Activities, Face Painting by Lindsay, Math Games with Ingrid Macon of Math Expansion, Kiddie Music by Mark Askin of Elite 360 Entertainment, School Supply Giveaways (while supplies last), October Birthday Party Specials!!! Admission is reduced to $4 for all children on this day! Adults are free! Face Painting is first come first served from 2-4 pm only. Spring Break Youth Art Camp - Hartselle, AL
We are excited to announce we will be having our first ever Youth Art Camp!! This will be a 3 day camp for 2 hours a day from 10am -12pm. Each day your child will learn a different form of art and create their own masterpiece to bring home. We will also provide a light snack each day. This will be a great learning opportunity for each child with a creative mind. I will have limited spaces. The fee for this camp is $60 a child for all 3 days. If you think you would be interested in signing up your child you may call the store @ 256-754-5018 and place a $20 non refundable deposit to hold your childs spot. By condensing the space players are guaranteed to touch the ball more and learn to become better support players for their teammates.
