Students will learn the art of putting imagery in motion as they explore a variety of techniques, including traditional stop-animation, claymation, hand-drawn animation, digital film and computer graphics like titling and film effects. Our distribution point will be digital with an emphasis on showing completed stories to a collected audience of family and friends. Students are encouraged to explore creativity in storytelling with a variety of media, such as clay, photos, natural materials and groups of actors. We will work with equipment on hand, such as iPhones, iPads, digital cameras and laptops. Daily demos and exercises educate young storytellers in technique, theory and history of the motion media. Camp Colley - 3 Nights - Town of Fountain Hills
CAMP COLLEY OVERNIGHT YOUTH CAMPS Overnight Youth Camps are designed to teach riding skills, horse care, and outdoor recreational skills. Life skills such as responsibility, empathy, and communication are emphasized in each activity. Campers ride a minimum of two hours per day in a series of riding lessons, games, and trail rides. Camp Colley partners with Hunkapi Horse Programs to provide overnight camps. This unique partnership will give campers additional opportunities at camp including, but not limited to, hiking, nature education, mountain biking, archery, and arts and crafts. Campers depart from the Kiwanis Ramada near the Splash Pad at Fountain Park at 8:30 AM on Monday and return at 4:00 PM on Wed.
