Campus Life Gives Back: Cadyn's Hope - Mason City, IA
Inflatables, extreme slip'n'slide kickball, music, and pizza. ! Campus Life is excited to kick the year off by giving back!! We're hosting a one of a kind, crazy, never done before benefit for Cadyn Hanson (high school students only). Cadyn is going to be a Sophomore at MCHS. When Cadyn was three he was diagnosed with brain cancer. Unfortunately the cancer has returned. While most of us are taking tests, Cadyn will be fighting for his life- lets show him that he's not fighting alone. Come, bring your love and cash if you have it and help us make it rain for Cadyn. We'll be raffeling off a limo ride, a Reel Skateboard from Subsect Skateshop, a gift card to Cinema West, and more!! You can also pay for your friend to play the grossest club games around! Lacey Camp (Outdoor) - REGULAR Session 1 - 2016 - City of Hanford
Grades: K - 12th This weeks theme "Kids in the Kitchen Week" Parents, is your child ready to have fun and make new friends this summer? If yes, then bring your child to the coolest hot spot in town. The Lacey Park Day Camp is full of fun activities for children grades K thru 6th. This is an outdoor recreation camp. Campers will learn about the benefits of being physically active; as well as, having a healthy lifestyle in the outdoors. Each week campers will engage in various group games, art projects, participate in a talent show and weekly field trips to the Hanford Teen Center, Hanford Plunge and the local Library. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided. A weekly food menu will be provided at request. If your child has a particular taste, you may consider bringing a sack lunch for your child. The park in the summer is hot, please send your child to the park with a bottle of water and sunscreen. Staff will provide an igloo of cold water for refills. Fitness & Character Education (F.A.C.E.) Camp - Bolles Ponte Vedra Beach Campus
The Fitness and Character Education (FACE) program combines 25+ years training of Martial Arts, jumping rope, and juggling to guarantee results in agility, coordination, focus, and timing for todays youth. Sensei Kirk Farber incorporates building self-esteem and character education within every class session. Each session emphasizes the principles and concepts to enhance the individuals fitness skills while speaking on character traits. Camp will include the FACE class, outside activities, and agility/coordination training. Each week will have a different theme. Prizes will be earned at the end of each week. Session 1H - Voyagers - Camp Butano Creek
This is a two-session program: spend the first session experiencing intensive training activities with your peers. This session includes: discovering your leadership potential; enhancing your skills in group dynamics and communication; understanding the delivery of camp programs and operations; and traditional camp activities including a special outing. Voyagers go home on July 16th to rest up and return on either July 21st (2nd session) or August 4th (3rd session) as an Apprentice Counselor, joining our camp staff during pre-camp for final camp training and preparations. In your assigned unit, put your new knowledge and skills to work as an Apprentice Counselor. Voyager registration is not complete until the following has been completed and returned: camper registration; Voyager application and questionnaire; and three references. Final placement is subject to evaluation by Voyager staff. Spaces are LIMITED, sign up early! Preference will be given to Voyagers entering 12th grade. If there are openings after March 1, those entering 11th grade will be considered.
