Kid's in the Kitchen Camp - Mays Landing, NJ
Our fourth week of cooking camp is for our 8-13 year old age group. In this 5 day fun filled camp, kids will visit the very places where food come's from and that's not the frozen food isle of the grocery store. Each day, we will explore the very places where beautiful, delicious, healthy food comes from. Then, it's back to the kitchen where we will create yummy dishes with the products that we learned about. Kids will have totally hands on experience both in and outside the kitchen. They will learn about nutrition, sustainability, responsible food sourcing along with basic cooking techniques, safe food handling, basic knife skills, recipe reading and so much more. Classes will be Monday thru Thursday from 8am-2pm with a fun cooking competition on Friday where the kids will cook for the parent's and compete for titles like most creative, dish, best knife skills, best use of cooking techniques and more. Day Camp 1 - Denton A. Cooley Pavilion
Campers are taught all aspects of the game. A typical day at camp includes station work with emphasis on fundamentals such as shooting, passing, footwork, defense, rebounding, and ball handling. We also have a variety of contests, drills, league games, and a tournament at the end of each camp. Throughout our camps we put a special emphasis on our core values, Appreciation, Enthusiasm, Competitiveness, Teamship and Accountability. With appearances from our Texas Mens Basketball coaching staff and players, our campers get an inside look at what it is like to be a part of an elite division one basketball program. Sport camps and clinics conducted by The University of Texas are open to any and all entrants. Enrollment is limited only by age, grade level, gender, and capacity restrictions as specified by each camp. Please note that NCAA guidelines prohibit payment of camp expenses (e.g., transportation, camp fees, spending money, etc.) by a representative of The University of Texas athletics interests. NCAA rules also prohibit free or reduced camp admission for prospects (7th grade and above in mens basketball). Sorry, no camp scholarships available.

Like riding your bike in the woods? Want to take your riding to the next level? Whether you ride all the time or just like to play in the woods, join our staff for a week of mountain bike riding at Loyola and area trails. Climb better and descend with more control. Learn how to shift more efficiently, brake properly and ride with more confidence. Additionally, we will cover basic bicycle and trail maintenance and develop an appreciation for the outdoors in a fun and safe environment. *While riding is our main focus in this camp, we realize that we are at the mercy of Mother Nature and should there be inclement weather additional activities may be deemed more appropriate. Mr. Keeney II and Mr. Glorioso have a combined 37 years experience in middle and high school teaching and run the Loyola Climbing Club.
