We invite you all to an amazing opportunity to spend time with your church family this summer. We will be having our annual Youth Camp at Aldersgate Camps & Retreats. ACTIVITIES: -Indoor & outdoor basketball -carpet ball -archery -beach volleyball -full sized soccer field -human foosball -grass volleyball -playground for kids -tree swing -disc golf, tennis -water slide -river floating -ping pong -inter tubing -foosball -fire pit -horse shoe pits COST: 4 days - $132 per person This includes lodging from Friday afternoon to Monday morning. It also includes meals, snacks, and activities. Please invite a friend or two to join us as we spend this time together. Families with children are welcome as well! Youth Winter Camp - New Haven, MI
Haven Place will be doing a FREE Youth Winter Camp. Grades 6th thru 12th. This camp will be focusing on Community Service, Discipleship, We will be having youth grades 6 to 12 stay overnight for three nights. We will be doing community service hours on Friday and Saturday. We will be taking the youth to serve senior citizens in the surrounding area. The youth will be making gifts to bring to the elderly. The youth will also be disciples through a program through D-Now Studies called "The Pause" this discipleship course is four sessions and it will equip youth to learn how to seek God in a never ending multitasking environment. They will each receive a student book and t-shirt. We will be having a New Years Eve party for them. Live band and student mentors will be with them during the camp. Weather permitting we will be shoveling snow and going to sledding hills to pass out free hot cocoa and the gospel message. Possibly do "laundry Love" where we go into a local laundry mat and pay for everyones laundry to be done and more!! TCTA Teen Theatre Camp Session 1 - Austin, TX
We are still looking for some interested teens for the TCTA Theatre Arts Program! It's free, there are 2 sessions at 2 different locations June 13-July 8 @ Hancock Recreation Center July 11- Aug. 5 @ Doris Miller Auditorium Monday - Friday 1-5PM Write, direct, perform and tour to other camps a contemporary performance piece that will include written word, dance, puppetry, etc. The Artists we have hired for the camp have an extensive performance and technical background. You will be taking tours of local theatre spaces and seeing performances around town. This is truly a unique experience if you have an interest in the theatre arts and performance art. Students will learn sequencing, estimation, and how to problem solve when they learn how to program Bee-Bot Robots! They will work in groups to design and build their own mazes and obstacle courses, and use collaboration skills to get out of their maze, avoid obstacles, count, and learn the alphabet. Well be hiking daily, tracking animals, investigating botanicals, and reliving life styles of the past. Post Camp is available (see our Post Camp section). Sorry, no Pre-Camp is available for this camp. Activities are the same each week during the summer. Camp projects change from year to year, but we do repeat many favorite projects. Use the grade your child JUST COMPLETED in the spring as his/her grade for camp registration.
