AAC Summer Theatre Camp 2016 in partnership - Jasper, AL
This summer program will introduce students ranging from rising third graders to high school seniors to all aspects of the creative and technical sides of musical theatre production. From the audition to the final curtain, students will not only star in the production, they will also learn what it takes to put on a show. The program will include instruction in acting, voice, dance, set, costume, sound and lighting design and more. I have been invited to be the Lead Speaker at this Year’s Youth Leadership Camp being held by The Christ United Methodist Church and Mississippi Families for Kids on the June 27, 2016 starting at 9:30 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. I am so honored that I have have been asked and I look forward to Empowering our Leaders of Tomorrow with the Encouraging of Words of God. In addition, to utilizing my life experiences, professional knowledge and expertise to inform participants of what is necessary to achieve their goals and how to become successful adults. Children will explore music, movement, art and sensory mediums through play! Camp Hollywood - Ohlook Performing Arts Center
Students will write a script, produce, direct, film, and star in a movie in our exciting 1 week camp! Beginning the first day campers will create a story, develop characters, design sets, even work on costumes and make-up. They will then get a crash course in camera work and filming techniques using digital video equipment. Putting all the skills together, students make a movie! OTL Script[ed] a six-week screenwriting workshop where youll get an introduction to the fundamental concepts of screenwriting: reading and analyzing professional screenplays; reading, analyzing, and critiquing your classmates work; and, most importantly, writing an original screenplay.
