Retreat 2016: Endurance - Proclaiming the Everlasting Kingdom - Naches
Each year the WGBC youth and guests spend 3 days in fellowship and under intensive instruction in the Word. The program includes worship services, bonfire fellowship, games, and various activities. This is a unique opportunity to establish new friendships, renew the old, and serve each other. But the most important aspect of this retreat is the time during the services when young people will be united in worship. Another great blessing of this time is the opportunity to interact with our pastors who will be there with us the whole time. This year's theme: The book of Daniel was written to encourage the Jews in exile by revealing God’s program for them. Get Published! Illustration (29224P) - Cary Academy
Imagine your artwork published in a magazine or online for thousands of readers to see! For an aspiring artist like yourself, getting your first piece of artwork published is one of the greatest thrills and is an impressive addition to your portfolio. Work with a local publication to create an illustration for an upcoming issue. Every participant will create their own illustration and at least one drawing will be chosen by the magazine to get published and printed. For artistic inspiration, we will explore the history of modern illustration by profiling artists from the Innovators of American Illustration book by Steven Heller. 919-677-7839
