Film Premiere Stages for Youth Summer Film Camp - Cincinnati, OH
***PLEASE NOTE VENUE CHANGE*** Join Stages For Youth in celebrating the accomplishments of 30 young filmmakers who attended the 2016 Stages For Youth summer film bootcamp. Participants, ages 12 to 19, from SCPA, Springer, Clark, Walnut, Bethany House, Seven Hills, Mercy, Purcell, Waldorf, Aiken, Withrow, as well as home educated, YWCA Rosie’s Girls and The Squash Academy came to Stages For Youth and were challenged...to make a short film…in only 2 weeks! Along the way they learned the film craft, they created, collaborated, debated, negotiated, and problem solved…and all came away with mission accomplished, a testament to their creativity, resolve, teamwork, and spirit. Movies will start around 8:30 PM in beautiful Union Hall. Total run time is about one hour and will be followed by awards. We have a hundred chairs and then some, so please bring your friends. This is a free, public, family event and all are welcome!

Voyage with us from Sea to Shining Sea as we create art in a wide variety of mediums that are sure to capture the creativity of every child. We will explore seascapes, ocean life, lighthouses, and more while learning from masters in art such as Edward Hopper, Winslow Homer and Henri Matisse! Catch a wave with us into visual arts looking below the ocean surface in a submarine, and taking a walk along the sandy beach picking up sea shells. Everyone has to eat, and engineers are involved in all the steps of getting food from a farm to your table. Engineers help figure out how to make food, package it, and how to deliver it to your table. During this camp, students will learn the engineering behind the fishing industry and how to protect other animals and the coral reef in the process, how designing the perfect environment for plants to grow can help increase food production, and learn how chemical and industrial engineers concoct different tasty recipes and manufacture them quickly using assembly lines to produce tasty treats in the quickest way possible. *This is not a cooking camp* (904) 707-2121

Come join the excitement of Adventure Camp with the San Bruno Parks and Recreation Services Department. Adventure Camp provides a fun and exciting experience for teens ages 11-13. Leaders provide a safe environment that helps teens develop social skills and the appreciation for the environment. A regular weekly schedule may include field trips such as movies, bowling, ice skating, miniature golf, swimming, pizza parties, and featured trips.
