LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Bear Valley Soccer Camp Summer 2015 - Bear Valley Soccer Camp
The Bear Valley Soccer Camp strives to provide the highest level soccer coaching in a setting that feels like an old fashioned summer camp. With our natural setting high in the Sierra, campers are treated to a beautifully manicured natural grass soccer field, swimming in several local lakes and streams, campfires and more. The soccer is serious. The rest if pure fun. 2016 Bear Valley Soccer Camp once again features coaching from Santa Clara University assist.Coach and Recruiting Coordinator Curtis McAlister. Coach McAlister brings with him a coaching crew of Santa Clara Womens Soccer alumni. Learn the Beautiful Game at 7100 in the Central Sierra ski town of Bear Valley. This co-ed camp is for players 9-16. Both overnight and day camp options available. Besides top level soccer instruction, campers experience High Sierra fun with lake kayaking, guided rock climbing, camp fires and plenty of swimming. Accommodations are at the Bear Valley or Base Camp Lodge, which is given entirely over to our camp for the week, with adult supervised separate gender floors. Meals are at the Bear Valley Lodge across the street. Meals are plentiful and nutritious.

Rise Up Florida High School Retreat November 6-8, 2015 Word of Life Retreat Center Hudson, Florida Join us as we welcome the band Lost & Found to join us for Rise Up Florida as one of their last stops on their farewell tour. This event is for both those who attended the Gathering and for those who were not able to attend. It will equip and re-ignite those who were at the Gathering to "bring the Gathering home" and to provide a feel of the Gathering to those who were not able to be there. Utilizing some of the resources, video and music from the Gathering and adding in some of our own, we will encourage youth to examine their story and the story of their community and congregation and to explore how God might be calling them to tell His story and affect change where they see injustice. Volleyball: Middle School Team Skills - Main Campus
The Harding Team Skills Volleyball Camp for 6th to 8th graders builds on the skills acquired during the June Individual Skills Camp (serving, passing, setting, attacking). Fast-paced team drills and games focused on enhancing court awareness, better understanding of game flow, anticipation, readiness, transitioning between offense and defense. Middle School girls continue developing team synergy, as well as achieving an advanced level of proficiency, utilizing three hitters, serving aggressively to get more aces, and converting serve-receive into a kill. Camp serves as a good jump-start in preparing for the Harding volleyball season (August-September). Daily team recognition. Camp ends with a tournament, which is always a blast. Join us for some serious, but always fun, volleyball. Counselors-In-Training - Wk. 7 (FD) - F. H. Hammond Elementary School
Teens, ages 12-14, get the opportunity to gain valuable experience and have alot of fun as a CIT. This camp will teach them how to be great future camp counselors through planning, team building, teaching and supervision. Upon aging out of this camp, does not mean you can apply for a camp counselor. You must be 18. Each week a parent letter and itinerary will be compiled for you to take which will list all activities/trips for that week. These will be available on the sign-in table each week. All camp activities will be held between 9AM-4PM. Parents are able to drop their child(ren) off between 7AM-9AM and pick them up between 4PM-6PM. All scheduled activities and trips will take place during the 9AM-4PM time frame. Early drop-off/pick-up will be designated for free time, smaller organized games and/or board games. Full-day campers should pack a lunch, 2 snacks and plenty of water. Half-day campers should pack a snack and plenty of water. All campers should have their own sunscreen and wear gym shoes.
