Youth Summer Circus Camp! - Austin, TX
We are so excited to be launching our brand new youth program with 2 exciting new offerings, Elemental Circus Camp and Sunday open level youth classes. Sign up for one or both weeks of Elemental Circus Camp this summer. Youth of ages 6-16 will undergo a circus adventure including age and skill appropriate lessons in performance, aerial arts, tumbling, balance and coordination, juggling, dance and magic. Youth will be grouped by age, and do not need to have any previous circus experience. With the exception of students advanced in aerial, gymnastics, or dance training, who will have the opportunity to submit an audition video to be grouped in an advanced mixed age group covering material more appropriate to their level. WPC Annual Youth Winter Retreat - Silver Lake, NY
If God threw a party, would everyone be invited? Would You? Well you are all invited to come on the annual Youth Winter Retreat What if Jesus meant something very different by the concepts of heaven, hell and salvation from how we have been taught and understand them? Pastor Larry DeVuyst will lead us to tackle these questions and more as we work through our retreat study from Rob Bell’s book, Love Wins, for Teens. As always there will be fun games, good food, and time with friends. Complete the retreat form found on WPC website youth page and turn it in to my mailbox with a check for $50 by 1/8. We need a count for food, games and supplies so please reserve your spot soon. Pick up the easy to read book from Pastor DeVuyst to read ahead. Robotics Vehicles - College Prep Middle
Robotics Vehicles – (6th - 8th Grade) Students will build Vehicles using Mindstorms robotics equipment. Students will advance on their programming skills and manipulate the Vehicles with coding on a laptop. There is a limit to 16 children for the class. The curriculum for the Robotics Club is different for each quarter, allowing for new material to be added per quarter. But the different curriculum also allows for new students to join in without having had previous Robotics experience. Students do not need to bring anything to the Club.
