LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Fairytale Storybook Production - Barn Second Floor
Storybook Production is a NEW program developed for young performers that combines a classroom experience and a production! We will develop our own individual characters and create a storyline together, including scenes, songs, and dancing. The production will be based on their favorite Fairytales. Instruction will include basics of vocal projection, stage movement, line memorization, character development and ensemble work. This class is a great introduction to stage acting and a way to help build self confidence, feel part of a supportive community and build performance skills. This program is designed for students age 4-1st grade. Performance will be held in our Performance Center May 6th at 5:30pm. Dress Rehearsal will take place May 5th 4:30-6pm. Can I trust the Bible We will also have break-out sessions discussing: 1. Why does God allow evil? 2. How to share and defend my faith at school. 3. How to prepare a bible study/sermon. 4. How do I balance sports and faith? 5. How do I have a quiet time? 6. Evangelism tools: using different tools to share the Gospel. Drivers Education - Bolles San Jose Campus
This course includes 30 hours of classroom instruction, 6 hours of actual driving time, and 12 hours of "in-car" observation. The first two weeks will consist of classroom instruction from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Athletic Conference room. Students will be asked to choose a driving session to comply with state requirements. There are two sessions to choose from, with no more than 9 allowed per session. Session I: June 27 - July 8 Session II: July 11 - July 21 All students must attend this segment to comply with State of Florida requirements. Before the students actual driving session, the student must have at least a restricted license. Within each driving session, there will be a driving group that will drive for an hour and a half each day for the two-week period. Similar driving experience will help determine the composition of each group. Students successfully completing this course will receive a Bolles certificate that may qualify them for an insurance discount. 904-256-5071

Its a weekday, and school is out! If you would like something fun for your junior scientist to do from 1:30 pm until 4:30 pm, then bring ‘em on by! We will have all sorts of fun science going on at the lab. Limited seats available. Drop off begins at 1:30 pm for our single day camp. This is our History 1 week. This week we will be moving around the Bay Area taking daily field trips while using public transportation to navigate our way. The week will be comprised of the schedule below*. Day 1: Alcatraz Day 2: GG Bridge/SF Maritime Museum Day 3: Oakland Walking Tour/Oakland Museum of California Day 4: De Young Museum (may be substituted) Day 5: USS Hornet (Days may not be in the specific order above) We meet at Rockridge BART station every morning at 8 AM then travel the city to our destination or destinations. We return to Rockridge BART at 4PM for pickup or post camp day care. *Note: UAC will follow the schedule posted unless issues arise, in which case we will make any and all substitutions equal to the current schedule. 510-339-0676
