CIRRUS MINOR Battling for a slot on SUMMER CAMP 2016! - Des Moines, IA
$5 gets you admission and one vote at this special ALL AGES event, where 4 regional bands (including CIRRUS MINOR) will compete to win a slot on the SUMMER CAMP MUSIC FESTIVAL in Chilicothe, Illinois on Memorial Day Weekend; this would have us playing alongside Mudcrutch (with Tom Petty), Umphrey's McGee, Fishbone, STS9, moe., George Clinton and P-Funk.... and so many more! We need your vote! Also, we need people to help spread the word- we haven't played since October, plus, Joe Corbin (our drummer) will NOT be playing this show with us- he and his wife are expecting a new baby within a couple days of the show- so you will see a Cirrus Minor show unlike any you have seen before... gonna get creative! Foothills Adventure - Session 1 - Mitchell Park Community Center (MPCC)
Did you fall in love with Foothills Camp when you were younger? Do you like to explore the land, hike the trails and sleep under the stars? Foothills Adventure is built on the same tried-and-true principles as our Foothills Day and Fun Camps, but developed specifically for middle school aged youth. Longer hikes, more sophisticated games and activities, weekly challenges with Foothills Camp staff...the fun doesnt end with Foothills Day anymore! An overnight on the first Thursday of the session is a must, but Foothills Adventure takes campfires and night games to a whole nother level. NEW IN 2016 - Swimming on the last Friday of camp ends the session on a perfect note. Get ready for a Foothills Adventure you wont forget! 10th-12th Grade week is much different than any of our other weeks. It occurs at the same time as our 7th-9th grade week; however, they do not have the same schedule as 7th-9th graders. Is there a better place to spend a week of your summer than at camp? For over 80 years, Grindstone Lake Bible Camp has been a summer tradition for many families! Located on the beautiful shores of Grindstone Lake in Sandstone MN, Grindstone Lake Bible Camp offers many opportunities for summer fun, and this year is no exception! Your Week will be filled with swimming, meeting new friends, canoeing/kayaking, learning new skills, playing games, arts and crafts, climbing our indoor Rock Wall, exploring Gods world through the Creation Center, and best of all. digging deeper into Gods Word! Music Production Camp - Bernards High School
Music Production Camp July 11-14, 2016 (Monday-Thursday), 9:00am-12:00pm Bernards High School MIDI Laboratory (F-201) Break into the music industry when you come and learn the tools of the trade! Become a music producer by learning the basics of recording and digital music with this introductory course in music technology led by Fred Trumpy (Band and Music Technology teacher at Bernards High School, Bernardsville). Students will be given hands-on experience with the software and hardware that professionals use to create, edit and distribute digital music. Throughout the week, students will create and edit digital music and video, creating projects that will be published on www.MusicSH.org. No musical or computer experience is necessary. 1st - 2nd Grade Mini Camp - Burnamwood Camp
A chance for our younger campers to come out for a short week to see what Burnamwood is all about. Campers will experience fun activities like Capture the Flag, campfires with SMORES, Bible Study and small group time, silly camp songs, crafts, and so much more.
