LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Girls entering Grade 6 in Fall 2016 - Huddart Park
Campers entering grade 6 are grouped in units with girls of their own age/grade and are supervised by trained staff members and program aides. Campers participate in a wide variety of activities including earning badges, hiking, outdoor cooking, learning outdoor skills, crafts, games, singing and more. Girls entering grade 6 in Fall 2016 will be going horseback riding one day during the first week of camp (additional waiver form required for this activity). Girls are will spend the night at camp on Wednesday, July 27th with their unit. If you wish for your camper to Opt-Out of horseback riding or the overnight, please check the appropriate box in the registration form. 650-308-8438

My twin son and daughter, aged 10, can’t wait for Camp Si-La Meo every summer. It is designed for ages 5-15 years old and has a variety of activities for each age group. There are many outdoor activities: rock climbing, swimming, archery, boating, hiking, rifle training and horseback riding. This camp provides experiences my kids would otherwise not experience.... The Theme this year is: LIFE IS MESSY! Registration for this COST FREE week of teen camp begins at 4:30 on Tuesday, July 19th. Activities for Senior High could include (but is not limited to) Boogie Bowling (with strobe lights), laser tag, basketball, carpet ball, ping pong, volleyball, putt putting, water slide, water balloons, swimming, paddle boat riding, playing on playground equipment, softball, hiking, sharing bathroom & shower facilities with other campers, sleeping on floors in rooms at the Church building, community service, worship and recreation,and traveling to activities. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty or stained and bring plenty of towels.

We are having a kids sewing camp this Saturday Nov 5th from 10:30am to 12:30pm at The 1 Sewing Center in the Shreve City Shopping Center. We are making cute little oven mitts just in time for Thanksgiving. Cost is $40 (includes supplies). Please rsvp your child at 318-861-1739.

TAM Aviation Easts Spring Break program mission is to encourage youth involvement in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math; and how it ties into the field of aviation. This program will go over aircraft systems, basic aerodynamics, communication procedures, flight instruments and a Discovery Flight. This program will also take field trips to the airport, museums and air shows. A $35.00 fee will be due to the instructor on the first day of class for books and equipment.
