I sent my teenager to the Taft Summer School in Watertown, CT this past summer and I am so glad I did! She was able to get intensive learning in a school environment, but it wasn't school. All kids up to age 18 welcome, no charge for current EquQuest horsemanship students; $250 for new students Camp dates are March 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18; 10 AM to 1 PM each day. Kid's learn to catch their own horse, tack it up, do ground work and ride (as age and confidence level appropriate). Get's them outside in sunshine and fresh air, helps them develop compassion for animals and puts them in touch with nature. Bring sunscreen, water and a snack. Call Michelle Clarke with any questions (512-868-7638) Equipment (except for riding helmets and boots) and horses provided. Please, no bicycle helmets.
Word of Life Camp with The Crash! - Hudson, FL
Our goal is to take AT LEAST 100 students this year! Camp cost is $350 if you give your $75 non refundable deposit on or before April 1. After that date the price goes up to $380. Kid's Dance Camp | Ages 6 - 12 - Portland, OR
June 20 – July 1 | Mon – Fri Half Day: 9:00am – 12:00pm | Full Day: 9:00am – 4:00pm June 2016 will kick off our 8th annual Kid’s Dance Camp. Kid’s Camp at Polaris is designed for students ages 6-12 and offers a full or half day experience, Monday through Friday. Camp is a great way for kid’s to have fun while sampling all that Polaris Dance Theatre has to offer. A typical day at Kid’s Camp includes several dances classes of multiple disciplines including Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Aerial, Tap classes and more! The Drama Club will work under the direction of Lil Buds Artistic Director/Co-Founder Jeff Predmore. Mr. Predmore is a professional actor and Director here in Chicago. The students in the Drama Club will work as an ensemble to stage a selected scripted play. The play will be determined based on class size. The students will learn all aspects of putting on a theatrical production, from character creation, staging, choreography and vocal production. The session will end with a final performance for invited family and friends. We will be presenting and adaptation of little mermaid for our final performance. Every child can learn to love stories, and our theme, as always, is Having Fun…One Book at a Time! March 3rd, 10th, 17th, 31st 9:30am – 12:00pm Ages: 3-5 March 3rd Frances doesnt like bedtime! We will write some of her excuse words on our word wall and write our own sentences about what an excuse is.
