The Pitching Camps (Ages 12+) provide middle and high school aged kids a chance to have hands-on instruction. All aspects of pitching are covered including the fielding of your position as well as pick off moves. Special emphasis is given to proper pitching and arm mechanics. Fundamentals Camp - Chicago Bulls (9-14 years) - The Community House
The Chicago Bulls are coming to The Community House! This camp will teach the latest techniques in ball handling, passing, shooting, and rebounding while also teaching children how to be student-athletes and great teammates. Every participant will receive top flight instruction from our professional Bulls/Sox Academy coaches who have learned from the Chicago Bulls coaching staff. We provide a fun and safe environment for children to learn the game, as well as teach life lessons such as discipline, respect, and sportsmanship. Each participant will receive a replica autographed photo of Derrick Rose, camp t-shirt, and personal scouting report. Your child will not only have fun, but will be given important tools to become a better basketball player. KidSport Mornings Ages 4 -13[] Kids enjoy a variety of team sports, individual sports, team building games, fitness and other physical education activities and swimming lessons Director: Kerry Winkelseth, UM School of Kinesiology Campers bring snacks and water. Mornings, Monday-Friday. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Curbside Drop-off. Staff will collect your camper from your car at 8 AM and bring your camper to your car at 12 Noon. KidSport offers children the opportunity to learn and refine non-competitive sport-specific, team building and social skills. The activities are age appropriate and developed by experts in childrens physical education. KidSport is staffed by certified teachers as well as physical education and education majors focused on providing a first-rate experience for your kids! Our Slalom session for improving your slalom skills. Session 4 will be 4 days of slalom training and technical drills. During our slalom camp we will focus on technical skills and tactics to help your daughter gain confidence in slalom. *The double session includes Session 4 & 5, July 5-17 At Keelys Ski Camp many of the all female coaching staff are recently retired from the U. S. Ski Team or are still racing at the highest levels (Olympic, World Cup, Noram, NCAA and FIS).
