Spies and Espionage: The Art of Investigation (44458P) - Cary Academy
Step into the well-worn shoes of a detective or agent and uncover the science involved in evidence gathering and analysis. Explore forensic science through the eyes of crime solvers, using your powers of observation to reveal clues and solve cases. Develop disguises for cover, make and break secret codes, and create and use cool spy gadgets. A local police detective will join us for a discussion and demonstration during the week. 919-677-7839

Science Olympiad Camp 1/2 Day (Grades 6-9) - Community Middle School
Science Olympiad Camp (Grades 6-9) Half Day The Science Olympiad Summer Camp is an excellent opportunity for students to experience what it is like to compete in a Science Olympiad Tournament. Students choosing the ½ day option will participate in 2 Science Olympiad events, while those choosing the full day option will participate in 4 events. The camp events are the same as those used in the State and National Science Olympiad Competitions. At the end of the 2 week camp, campers will participate in our camp competition which will be modeled after actual Science Olympiad competitions. Instructors are current members of the High School North Science Olympiad Team and former members of the Community Middle School Science Olympiad Team that has won 13 consecutive State Science Olympiad Championships and 2 National Science Olympiad Championships. Aquatics Camp - PreK-4 - Avenues New York
Over the course of 4 days, the PreK-Grade students will learn essential swimming skills through fun and games. Combining a games-led approach with excellence in coaching and instruction, each student will learn the core aquatic skills needed to be a competent swimmer. In addition to working on the four competitive strokes, swimmers will learn numerous other skills, which will give them the ability to participate in a range of aquatic sports including synchronized swimming and water polo. Swimmers will also practice water rescue drills and discuss water safety. Requirements: Must be in the PreK – Grade group. Swimmers will be grouped by age and ability. Advanced Algebra Skills (29503A) - Cary Academy
Build on your knowledge of basic algebra by tackling more complex concepts such as polynomials, factoring, parabolas, exponents and radicals. Become more confident about your ability to do well in advanced algebra and gain an appreciation for how algebra really does relate to the real world. Golf Academy Week 6 (Mon-Fri 9 AM to 3 PM) - Lindero Country Club
The Golf Academy with PGA instruction has been designed for serious golfers with some prior knowledge and exposure to the game. Academy golfers are required to know the game of golf, golf rules and etiquette and preferably provide their own equipment.
