Whether youve just started learning an instrument or have been playing for years, playing steel pan is fun for everyone! We invite all instrumentalists to come learn to play pan - from percussionists to tuba players, violinists to bassoonists! If youre looking for a new, fun way to play music, youll love learning about this Caribbean instrument from Trinidad and Tobago. Youll have a chance to try out all of the instruments - from the high lead pan all the way down to the deep, low tones of the bass pans. Youll work with your instructor to learn basics of playing steel pan and play in several ensembles with everyone at the camp. Canyon Creek is just about an hour’s drive outside LA and I’m really glad we took our kids. They learned a lot about several different sports and seemed to be really excited when we picked them up. It is near a large lake and is a beautiful area. The camp was huge and had many sporting facilities. All of the equipment seemed to be new and the camp counselors were great with the kids. Mainstage Morgantown submitted 12 area bands from WV, PA, OH, MD based on website, social media presence, recorded material, tour history, festival history, and local fanbase. Teens Camp (ages 13-18) If your teen is looking for a fun way to spend their summer, this is it! Students wil learn beginner photography with Mirroless cameras that wil be provided to them. Creative techniques will also be introduced to help enhance their skills and imaginations! Students are required to bring their own SD card to each class. The Teen Girl Retreat, hosted by Wises Chapel Missionary Baptist Church of Pineville, Arkansas, will be March 10th-11th at Budd Creek Baptist Camp. Registration will be on the 10th, 5:30-7:00.
