Free Summer Horse Day Camp for Kids, Week 8 of 9 - Lacomb, OR
This is not your typical day camp! Kids learn how to get big jobs done and earn big rewards through our framework of barn, garden, and community activities. Our mixture of work, learning, and play develops character, leadership, and real-world skills. Kids start the morning cleaning stalls and doing other jobs, then have a well-supervised fellowship lunch, then ride or do other horse activities in the afternoon. For the kids that are interested in doing other things doing the horsemanship time, we have interesting building or maintenance projects as well as gardening. Sometimes we have someone come share an aspect of their career, or we will go on a field trip to a business, and sometimes we need to go pick up hay or other donations as part of the camp day. Toward the end of the day as parents arrive, we usually do a short devotion that gives kids the chance to tell how they illustrated a positive characteristic that day. Parents and kids should attend a 90-minute tour and orientation prior to enrolling, you just call us and schedule a time. Golf: Junior Half Day Summer Camp 7/11 - Offsite Location
Junior Half Day Golf Camp will teach the fundamentals of golf, the full swing, chipping, putting, rules and etiquette in a fun and creative learning environment. All golf lessons are held at Camarillo Springs Golf Course, located at 791 Camarillo Springs Road. If needed, golf clubs and balls can be provided to those who do not have their own. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bring your receipt to the first class and arrive 5-10 minutes early. See instructor and sign waiver form at first class. If your class if outdoors, please dress for warm/cool weather and bring a water bottle. Class Refunds - If withdrawal/transfer from a program/class is made 5 business days prior to the start of a class there will be a full refund less a $10 administrative fee. If withdrawal is made less than 5 business days before the first day of the program, there will be no refund issued. Registrants failing to be present for the program will forfeit all fees paid. Each day will be spent reading book in small and large groups, writing summaries, fiction and non-fiction stories, and book reports. We will greatly expand our vocabulary, play word games, and focus on grammar, pronunciation, and fluency in a challenging yet relaxed and fun environment.
