Students will learn the principles and methods of disease investigation: investigating patterns of illness in populations, identifying infectious microbes by visual assessment, mode of infection, and symptoms. Students will be able to identify the characteristics of various pathogens and infectious agents, be able to explain how diseases spread, and will construct models, create presentations, and collaborate on projects related to epidemiol 919-416-2635
