August 1-4: Secret Language of Birds (Ages 5-7) - Mountain Kids!
Birds are beautiful and expressive animals that we can see and hear daily. Learning bird language opens up a whole new way of understanding our forests and what is happening around us. We will look for birds in the wild and visit the Wildlife Center for an educational program and close-up view of some beautiful raptors and other birds and mammals. Kayaking - Kayaking Camp - Lees SUP
Learn to kayak, explore the rich maritime heritage of Gig Harbor and discover the marine environment! Spend camp days kayaking inside the harbor: learn kayak safety, equipment, basic strokes and maneuvers. Campers will receive a Stand Up Paddleboard orientation on the last day of camp too! Camp is offered in partnership with Lees SUP on the Gig Harbor waterfront.
