NAGSDA YOUTH CAMP MEETING Secure your spot by Registering Now -- http://nagsdayouthcamp2016.eventbrite.com MINIMUM AGE: You must be 11 yrs or older to attend this camp. Minors must be accompanied by a chaperon or responsible adult (21+) who assumes responsibility and accountability for both safety and behavior of the minor. DRESS CODE: Your dressing should reflect the professional nature of an Adventist Youth and Young Adult and should respect the principles of Christian modesty and simplicity. ROOMS: 2 people per room. All campers are required and highly encouraged to bring money to cover the key deposit of $20 per key. It will be the shared responsibility of the occupants of the room to maintain the security of the room and return the key in perfect condition. Deposits will be returned at check-out. LINEN/PILLOWS: It is your responsibility to bring your own pillow to the Youth Camp. None will be provided. Marywood University will be providing linens. However, please make it a point to bring white bedsheets, which will be used during Friday inspection program. 40 Years of Camp Goddard - Reunion (SouthMac) - Sulphur, OK
This is a TENTATIVE event page to see who would be interested in heading to Goddard Youth Camp for a weekend in June 2016. Please invite everyone that you know who has attended "Camp Goddard" through South MacArthur Church of Christ to like this event and the Facebook page. This Reunion will be open to all ages and families are encouraged to come together! There is enough cabin space for 210 people. Cabin spaces will be available in groups of 10 on a first come, first served basis. Restrictions: Older couples or those with major medical issues will be given cabin preference if they would prefer not to sleep in tents/RV's. Camping with tents/RV's will be a slightly cheaper option than cabins because we may be expecting more than 210 people. Our students will design and create their own fabric using surface design techniques. They will learn how to use a sewing machine and also, basic sewing skills. With their new found skills they will sew a super cool backpack and pillowcase. Lots of paint, screens and unique personal designs will abound. The students will have fun experimenting with stamps, screens and printmaking to create their fabric art! We encourage our students to be Fearless and unique!!! All supplies included. Taught by Sandy Gillespie: Fiber Artist, Baker and Crafter We have sewing machines, but it's best for your child to learn on their own machine if you have one...otherwise, no worries! Join Camp Acoma Bears for a summer of action, creation and relaxation in six unique sessions. Local field trips serve as capstones and opportunities for more hands-on learning and adventure. A foundation of Camp Acoma is developing strong relationships with other campers and counselors. Blake faculty and counselors who are caring role models with unique talents lead Camp Acoma. Our counselor-to-student ratio is below 1:8. Dedicated arts and physical education faculty deepen athletic and artistic experiences throughout each session. Please pack a nut-free lunch, afternoon snack and water bottle for your child each day. Refrigerators and microwaves are not available. Camp Acoma Bears takes full advantage of Blakes rolling acres, pool (Hopkins campus only), gymnasium, ice arena (Hopkins campus only) and nearby lakes. Each session offers hours of swimming lessons and water-based activities. A personalized swim assessment guides the instruction of each child and Red Cross Certified lifeguards serve as instructors.
