Gymnastics Camp, Ages 7-13 - Community House
Girls will have the opportunity to learn gymnastics including rhythmic gymnastics with hoops and ribbons, tumbling on the mats and have the opportunity to learn routines on the balance beam, the single and uneven parallel bars and the vault. Lorrie Rousseau is LPRDs Gymnastic Instructor during the school year and now Lorrie brings her talent and over 25 years of dance and gymnastic experience to our summer camps. This is an excellent opportunity for dancers and cheerleaders to get in shape and learn beginner through intermediate gymnastic level activities. Space is limited! DETAILS StoryStars is designed to help children take an interest in books and literature at an early age. With our enjoyable and fun themes each week, children see how exciting reading can be! Each week will focus on age-appropriate literary skills while incorporating art, science, math and cooperative learning into the lessons. Fun with Science - Foothills Montessori School
Science and fun go together in this weeklong exploration of principles like, gravity, astronomy, robotics, magnetics and stretchy rubber materials. We will be working with rubber bands and finding the limits of their stretch, doing marble painting, testing materials for the sink and float properties and building your own robot using Legos. Volleyball Skills Camp (8-12 yrs.) - Veterans Memorial Arena
The West Fargo Park District is offering a summer youth volleyball camp for boys and girls ages 8-12. Participants will be taught fundamental skills such as serving, hitting, passing, blocking and setting. Participants need to wear athletic shoes and appropriate clothing. All participants will receive a T-shirt. Instructors will be local college volleyball players. It is recommended that participants bring water bottles with them each day. Teens Golf! Level 2 - Chuck Corica Golf Complex
This is for 12-14 year olds with experience hitting the ball and playing on the golf course. These juniors are on a path to play high school golf. If your junior is motivated they then can join one of our practice and playing squads and continue to be coached and even play in fun competitions around the Bay Area.
