Kid's Culinary Day Camp at LeTourneau is a wonderful opportunity for kids ages five to thirteen to experience the culinary arts in an exciting and safe Christian environment. Kids Culinary Day Camp includes all of the following exciting aspects of the culinary arts: an introduction to the culinary arts, food safety, cooking, food tastings, crafts and games. Dancing With Degas - Spiva Center for the Arts
In this interdisciplinary class, students will look at and analyze the work of Edgar Degas. Students will experiment with similar postures, movements and phrases in relation to Degas work. This is a great opportunity for students to re-interpret the artwork through movement. No dance experience required. Students should wear comfortable clothing and socks. Space is limited to 6 students, pre-registration is required. (417) 623-0183
Summer Inspired on the Farm - Deep Roots Community Farm
Join us for this three day farm adventure! We will plant, tend and eat fresh fruits and vegetables from the gardens, build with natural materials, and explore the farms streams, forests and native prairie. We will tend to the farm animals and learn about respectful methods of animal care. And of course, well make some awesome art projects together, including hand stitched journals, water color paintings, woodworking, origami, upcycled CD art and so much more. During this session our biology lessons will explore monarch butterflies and their habitats. All programming is led by Ana Skemp, M.S. Ecology, owner of Deep Roots Community Farm and Jeni Blake, artist and owner of Inspired. 9:1 staff to child ratio. Children will be asked to bring their own healthy snacks and lunch. 608-790-0255
