Revolution Youth Fall Retreat - Alba, TX
When: Nov. 13-15 Where: Focus Point Base Camp in Alba, TX Who: Grades 7th – 12th Students and parents, we are excited to announce that we have set a date for the fall youth retreat and service project. We’re looking forward to a packed weekend of bible study, worship, fellowship, service and fun. There is a cost of $45 per person, student and volunteers, and your contribution covers the cost of the 2 night stay and 4 meals. More information will be communicated in the next week. Summer Camp at TROT - Cottondale, AL
TROT will be hosting three summer camps in 2015. Camp will be from 9-2 Monday through Friday, with a horse show on Saturday so participants can show off what they learned. Cost is $200 per week, lunch, drinks and snacks are provided. Some scholarship assistance is available upon demonstration of financial need. Group discount rates also available. Sounds of Silence is a guided program designed specifically for infants to two year old children. It is a time for parent and child to leave the noisy, often over-stimulated world and connect through gestures, body language and facial expressions. The class moves slowly and calmly creating a safe, relaxing environment for very little people to experience our ranch and the wonders of Mother Nature. With no chit-chatting from the adults, there is a distinct and beautiful emphasis on what each child is noticing and how they are interacting with that plant, rock, animal or new friend. Throughout Sounds of Silence, the Barn Faerie shows and models a myriad of ways to support you and your young child in seeing, hearing, touching, smelling and awakening to the natural world. This camp is for 6-10 year olds. Camp operates June 20 through August 12 from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The program is geared to motivate and stimulate the participants willingness to learn through field trips and age appropriate activities and much more!
