This camp is an all-encompassing program specifically designed for the more serious soccer player. The focus here will be to challenge each individual to transfer what they have learned in the morning skill sessions and the afternoon small group tactics into the competitive full-field evening games. You will play on the same fields that the University of Maryland Mens Soccer Team utilizes. Typical Day for Residential / Extended Day Sessions (II) 7:00-8:00 AM - Breakfast at dining hall 8:30 AM - Extended Day Campers Arrive 9:00-11:30 AM - Technique development/skill games session (GKs separate) 12:00-1:00 PM - Lunch in dining hall and rest period 1:30 PM - Demonstration with Staff 2:00-4:00 PM - Small group tactics/7v7 tournament play 5:00-6:00 PM - Dinner in dining hall 6:30-8:00 PM - 11v11 Games 8:30 PM - Extended Day Campers depart 9:15-10:30 PM - Residents (movies/snacks/games) 11:00 PM - Lights out! 3013141035.0

The Perfect Family Vacation
We were looking for a different kind of family vacation away from the crowded theme parks. What we found at Camp Heart was the perfect space. First of all, you can beat being surrounded by all that pristine nature. There was plenty to do. Everyone had their time on their own and time as a family. This is the Place Heritage Park Art Camp (Session 2) - This is the Place Heritage Park
Join us as we take art to This is the Place Park. We will meet on location and will set-up our drawing boards to sketch pioneer-era architecture, gardens, and people in period costume. We will use several mediums including: pencil, charcoal, pastel, watercolor, markers, and ink. This is a great time to learn new art techniques while spending time outdoors and learning about Utahs history. We will provide all the supplies as well as a VAI t-shirt for all students. You will need to come prepared with a water bottle, sunscreen (already applied), hat, and small folding chair. 801-474-3796

The Dance Academy Designed to serve the needs of the committed and focused student, 4 to 18 years old, who is seeking to expand their dance vocabulary and dramatically improve their technique. The Academy is calling you! With an emphasis on Classical Ballet and Modern Dance, the Academy students follow a schedule designed by the directors that will also include, depending on level, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop and African Dance. Voice, and Art classes are also offered in rotation. Multi-day training and a comprehensive vocabulary are necessary for any artist to achieve success in the dance world. Compare this with the world of Sports: Kobe, LeBron, Jordan, and all of the Gods of Basketball train every day. We have also seen remarkable results in academic achievement as a result of the character education dance training instills. Young people of NCA learn to manage their time. All Academy Students perform in seasonal concerts and the year end concert and are encouraged to audition for theatrical productions. The Young Filmmakers Workshop is an exciting, hand-on production class where students write, direct, produce, film, and act in a 7-10 minute film. Each class collaborates on 1 project, and students are mailed their DVD 2-3 weeks after class is complete.
