Teen Adventure Summer Camp 2017 - Scotts Valley, CA
This 3 week teen intensive is back by popular demand July 9 - July 29 - fb's events can not be longer than 2 weeks so the correct dates are July 9 - July 29! Our teens love this camp! This camp is a trip and travel camp based out of Southern Oregon. Rappelling, White Water Rafting, Leadership, Firearms Safety Training, Trap Shooting, Basic Hunter Ed, Bow Hunting, Nature Photography, Backpacking, Friction Fire, Fishing, Fly-tying, Hiking, Backcountry Cooking, Horsemanship, Archery, Advanced Scout Training including Wilderness Skills and so much more. Camp Quality Arkansas Summer Camp 2016 - Bald Knob, AR
Camp Quality Arkansas is scheduled for June 12 - 17. Volunteers will arrive on Saturday, June 11. Campers will arrive on Sunday, June 12. While waiting for applications to be available, please spread the word to any potential campers or voluntunteers.

ADV Robotic w/ LEGO EV3 - Faith Lutheran Church
Using LEGOs New EV3 Space challenge Set and Activity Pack, campers are introduced to robotics with a very current and real-world theme-traveling and living on Mars! Campers will work as scientists and engineers as they progress though a set of lessons, challenges, and projects that fully integrate science, technology, engineering, and math concepts while prompting creative problem solving, communication, and teamwork. Campers will learn the basics of gears to help them apply physical science and math principles to build effective robots. They will also progress through a series of missions in which they investigate, observe, calculate, and apply their knowledge to solve specific tasks. Our space engineers will conduct research as they explore, plan, and develop three fundamental challenges NASA engineers and scientists are working to solve-how to endure humans can survive in space, how humans can create energy in space, and how robots can help humans explore space. 713-589-8958

If you are interested in a specific class that is not offered, please call Kim at 785-537-4420. ***** Instructor: Jesse Ring Ages 11-14 Days: Thursdays Time: 4:00-6:00pm Dates: Feb 4-Mar 10 Cost: $95 (min. enrollment 4) This young teens class will focus on beginning to learn the basics of the potters wheel. Projects will range from cellphone boom box holders, treasure boxes, cereal bowls, and coffee mugs. Clay cost is included. MAC has a $10 non-refundable deposit on classes that are canceled by the participant. If a class is canceled by MAC before it begins, the entire paid amount will be refunded. 785-537-4420

Using a lower basket, campers are introduced to the basics of basketball. Development of early skills such as proper ball-handling, passing and shooting are combined with the basic knowledge of the rules of the game and principles of teamwork and sportsmanship.
