Girls entering Grade 6 in Fall 2016 - Huddart Park
Campers entering grade 6 are grouped in units with girls of their own age/grade and are supervised by trained staff members and program aides. Campers participate in a wide variety of activities including earning badges, hiking, outdoor cooking, learning outdoor skills, crafts, games, singing and more. Girls entering grade 6 in Fall 2016 will be going horseback riding one day during the first week of camp (additional waiver form required for this activity). Girls are will spend the night at camp on Wednesday, July 27th with their unit. If you wish for your camper to Opt-Out of horseback riding or the overnight, please check the appropriate box in the registration form. 650-308-8438

Level 2- 1st and 2nd Grade - Terrace Park Elementary Music Room
Designed for students in first or second grade that took a Level 1 course during the fall session (classes previously held on Tuesdays at 3:30, Tuesdays at 5:30 or Thursdays at 4:15). Students will continue to use the same book. 513-272-7407

Feathers, Fur, and Scales - Vasona Lake County Park
Investigate different kinds of animals from head to toe and from the inside out. Learn how snakes slither and eat without chewing. Study one of natures greatest predators and understand the unique features that allow owls to see small objects in the dark and look behind themselves. Examine bones, fur, feathers, claws, teeth, scales, and skeletons to learn more about these and many other animal adaptations. Meet the YSI animal ambassadors and look for wild animals in the park to see how these adaptations help animals to survive in many different environments. 408-827-5507

Living Laboratory - PM - Science Fun Lab

SummerART at Van Vleck, Ages 5-7 - Van Vleck Education Center
Screen Shot 2016-03-08 at 12.10.58 PM [] SummerART Camp at Van Vleck 9:30am to 1:45pm Session II: July 11 to July 22 Campers will create works of art inspired by the abundant plant and animal life found in the garden. From butterflies and beetles, to birds and buttercups, and more! Flora and fauna abounds in this secluded historic garden; there is so much to explore! Camp will be held outdoors when weather permits, as well as in Van Vlecks spacious and air conditioned Education Center. SummerARTs fantastic teaching artists will teach camp sessions, and projects will include a variety of fine art materials and methods such as drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and more. Students will have the opportunity to exhibit their work and celebrate what they have learned with family and friends at a closing reception held at the end of each session.
