This class will give the vision and skills to get students to begin the creative process of using something as simple as leftover cardboard into something artistic and maybe even practical. In two days - 4 hours per day - students will get hands on instruction and come out with a completed project like the one below. Lot's of fun. Visual artist and film maker David Wilson in collaboration with Actors Point Theatre Company will conduct this amazing class. Limited space available. Engineering Fun is an excellent hands on activity based STEM curriculum. Students learn basic concepts about Energy, Light, Motion and more. This class does not use games to engage kids in engineering/science concepts. Students learn thinking and reasoning skills needed for success. Engineering Fun engages children to apply what they know about science and math through hands on activities are based on real-world technologies and problems, they help children see how disciplines like math and science are relevant to their life. Description: There is nothing like stepping out onto the Sheakley Athletic Complex under the lights. Our Saturday Night Lights Camp is an up-tempo evening of football with the Cincinnati Coaching Staff and top college coaches from the Midwest. This camp will be held at our practice complex under the lights, simulating a game day environment. Campers will go through combine style testing demos, position drills, 1-on-1 drills, speed drills, and on field competitions focusing on proper techniques and fundamentals. All One Day Camps feature in person instruction by the University of Cincinnati Football Coaches, along with many other coaches from FBS, FCS, Division II, and Division III level Colleges. A Member of the Cincinnati Football Staff will lead each Position. Camp is open to football players going into Grades 9 to 12 in the fall of 2016, CHECK IN/CHECK OUT PROCEDURES • Check In – Saturday June 4, 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., Linder Athletic Center • Closing Remarks – 7:00 pm., Sheakley Athletic Complex WHAT TO BRING • Any special shoes you may use.
