This was the first time our daughter was going away for the summer and we were understandable cautious but optimistic. Doing the research on Brewster before signing up helped because there were so many positive reviews. I'm happy to report they lived up to those reviews in so many ways. I was especially impressed at how the counselors made it seem like every kid was a priority. This makes me wish I could go to summer camp! We'll be back next year!... Read More...

We will be attending Summer Camp at The Calvary Chapel Christian Camp in Green Valley California. You must be 8th grade going into 9th grade through graduating Seniors to attend this camp. Theme for camp this year is: Philippians 3:3 “For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.” We will explore 3 questions throughout the week. Summer Cooking Camp - Macon, GA
June 27-30 from 9:00 am-12:00 pm each day. Registration Ends on June 22nd. Students will be taught the Healthy Hands Cooking program. Our classes will focus on healthy recipes for snacks, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Additional content will include kitchen safety skills, nutrition games, fun fitness activities, and more. Students will leave with the skills needed to work confidentially in the kitchen. This program is held for 3 hours a day over 4 days. Cost is $150 and includes a cookbook/workbook. Camp is limited to 10 students.

Our theme for The Chapel Schools CARE BEAR this year will be Fairy Tales from Around the World. Young campers will acquire global awareness through literature. Children will enjoy learning about countries and their cultures while making creative arts and crafts projects. We will also have plenty of outdoor time for water play and games. Our In-House Field Trips always bring fun and fascinating visitors to our campus. We will once again have Dinosaurs Rock, Mad Science, Greenburgh Nature Center, and Animal Embassy along with magicians and storytellers to teach and entertain us.
