College Counseling Mini-Camp for non-Derryfield Students - The Derryfield School
For rising seniors who do not attend Derryfield, students will work with Derryfields Director of College Counseling, to get ahead of the college process before school starts. Each morning, students will work on drafting their college essay. In the afternoon students will refine their college list, work on the common application, and practice interviewing skills. Participants will also have the opportunity to hear directly from college admission officers. This program is for children in grades 1-4th and all skill levels. The philosophy behind the program is to teach basic skills and fundamentals, develop athletic skills, make new friends, and most importantly have fun! The program stresses good sportsmanship at all times. All equipment will be provided. This is a good program to put your child in if theyre baseball, football, basketball, and/or hockey players. Many of the physical skills worked on during the camp will crossover to those sports. All equipment is provided.
