Youth Environmental Justice Alliance (YEJA) presents... YouthPass to the Future! Campaign for Free Bus Passes Do you believe in Youth Power? in Transit Justice? Come to our "YouthPass to the Future" Campaign Kick-Off! OPAL's multi-racial youth program, Youth Environmental Justice Alliance, is organizing a community event to raise awareness about a campaign to sustain and expand the YouthPass program in Portland. Our goal for the campaign is to show the city, TriMet, our schools, and our community that affordable public transportation is important for youth to lead healthy lives, be able to thrive, and be successful. The youth-led event will officially launch our campaign and engage with community members and decision makers, especially in East Portland neighborhoods. There will be educational booths about transit justice, powerful youth testimonies, and cool performances! YouthPass to the Future Campaign: We want all high school students in Portland to be able to go to school and access opportunities that prepare them for success. Transit is an educational right! Let's permanently fund YouthPass and expand it to Parkrose and David Douglas High Schools! Free food. Guest speakers. Youth Stories. Performances.

Teen Idol/ Tween Idol Camps - Hewitt, TX
Do you want to be a SUPER STAR? Come perform songs from some of the most famous "Idols" in History. Learn how artist such as Elvis Presley and The Beach Boys impacted music forever. Sing classic songs like “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and “New York New York”. And of course we will be including some recent tween Idol songs as well. Sing OUT, Sing LOUD, Sing PROUD! Art for Home Schooled Students - Location: Center for The Creative Arts
New students welcomed! Art classes for home-school students continues with instruction intended to guide new art students while challenging returning students to build on their skills. Students will split the time between explorations in Realistic Drawing and Painting and 3/D Art and Pottery. The group will be divided by age dependent on the number of students. CS 8 Lego Robotics Camp - Ages 8-11 - Chehalem Parks and Recreation
Solving problems is a key skill for the 21st century. Come learn how to make and program a robot to solve problems using LEGO Mindstorms technology. This camp is intended for those who have never taken a LEGO Robotics course before. Class will be held at MVMS INSTRUCTOR Andy Byerley

P.M. Club - Albuquerque Academy
Our P.M. Club provides a safe environment for children to enjoy after 3:30 p.m., when our regular programs end. Activities include arts and crafts, outdoor organized games, free play, and reading time. Bring a snack and a water bottle—and wear sunscreen, a hat, and athletic shoes. UKSA (United Kingdom Soccer Association) is a class designed for children who are ready for more of a challenge. The curriculum is designed to build fundamental skills such as balance, coordination and ball skills. Our fast-paced, fun exposure to the most popular sport in the world opens up your kids minds. Classes focus on foot-eye coordination, balance, dribbling, shooting, passing and the basic fundamentals of soccer. Our classes will also introduce the concepts of teamwork and cooperation. Our main goal is to provide a fun and comfortable environment for your child to learn.
