Youth Councils 2016! - Camp Lake, WI
What is Youth Councils? Youth Councils is a three day retreat specifically for Jr. High, High School and college age youth to be challenged and strengthened in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Who can attend Youth Councils? We have two tracks to set up so that we can tailor everything to the specific needs of your youth. To attend the Jr. High Track, youth must be in 6th, 7th or 8th grade by April 8, 2016. In order to be in the High School Track, youth need to be in 9th grade-age 25 by that same date. When is Youth Councils 2016? Youth Councils 2016 is being held from April 8-10, at Wonderland Camp & Conference Center. How much does Youth Councils cost? Only $25. Only $25?! Yes, you read that right. $25 is all you need for your meals, snacks, lodging, main sessions, concerts, banquets, jokes, good times, pillow fights, and more. It's a steal when you think about it. 2016 Pre-Teen Summer Camp – Register March 9-11 - Scott Air Force Base
Youth, ages 9-13, are invited to register for the YP Pre-Teen Summer Camp which is held weekdays during the summer months from 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This camp offers half day care with extracurricular activities for youth. Field trips will be conducted once a week to places like Sky Zone, City Museum, Raging Rivers Water Parks, The Fusion, laser tag, as well as excursions to base activities. (Field trips/activities such as bowling are an additional cost.) Fee: $100/child per week, plus the cost of excursions. Youth Programs membership is required. Annual Program membership is $48/child. Camp begins at 6:30 a.m., and ends at 12:30 p.m. when open recreation at the Youth Center starts. Youth are required to bring their own meals, however the snack bar is open periodically. Limited slots are available, sign-up early! Registration will coincide with School Age Program Summer Camp registration days, March 9-11 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more details, call Youth Programs at 256-5139.

Ages 8-13, Hands-On, 4 hour class $30 Our school doors aren’t closed today. We’d love to educate your child(ren) on their day off with a skill set that will be used for decades to come—cooking! All participants will be shopping, prepping, cooking, eating and cleaning. Most food is made from scratch and in season! For rising 6th-8th grade girls Advanced camp is for the serious-minded player who wants to advance to the high school level. This camp will emphasize positional play. Players will work at either the guard or post position. Emphasis for guard will be feeding the post, offensive moves and setting screens. This camp combines the best of all our lake ecology, maritime heritage and adventure skills— for kids who love to be outdoors! We will explore the waterfront environment on bikes; explore shipwrecks with masks, snorkels and fins; and take an expedition down a river as original inhabitants of the Champlain Basin would have. Jr. Brick Robotics - Our Saviors Lutheran School
Campers get a head start on simple robotics using LEGO® WeDo™ components and easy to use software. Our young creators will build models, attach sensors, and motors that are plugged into a computer, and configure behaviors using a simple programming tool. Counselors guide campers through their first 12 robot models, which include a variety of animals, soccer players, amazing mechanisms, and adventure stories. If ready, campers than move to advanced building and programming projects that include: a Racecar, Ferris wheel, and Carousel. As the week draws to a close, campers can utilize the skills they have learned to build and program their own creations.
