Aspiring performer? Curious technician? Want to show your stuff? Want to show other peoples stuff to best effect? Then this is your camp. Campers will split into small groups to create and perform theatre vignettes. Both performance and technical theatre will be explored. Campers can self-select into their interest areas, and will have a chance to get hands on as actors, dancers, and singers. On the technical side, campers will learn the basics of: lighting; sound; and set and costume design. Youngsters and their families will enjoy stories, crafts, songs, and surprises at Toddler Boot Camp. This themed four-week story time is geared to children 1-5 years old to encourage them to transition from the baby stages to a big kid. Join us as we write creatively about life as it really is through each of our individual lenses. We will play with poetry, prose and dialogue - working independently and in small groups and/or partners. We will explore the arboretum, campus and downtown locations for nature, art and culture inspired writing. 2016 Elite Soccer ID Camp - Dr Dan DeLoache Field
Residential Elite Camp Coach Rob Czlonkas Elite Camp is by far one of the most exciting camps we offer. This camp attracts players looking to take their game to the next level. During this camp players will focus on both the technical and tactical sides of the game. Players will be shown how to improve their individual foot work as well as how to read the game and react accordingly. In the end, this camp gives each player an inside look as to what it takes to play competitive college soccer and more specifically what its like to be a member of the NSU Mens Soccer Team. NSU coaches will be providing primary instruction and evaluation however various other college coaches representing a wide ranging of programs from Junior college to NCAA Division I maybe in attendance as guest instructors. Goalkeeper Academy As Part of the Advanced and Elite Camps, this camp is designed around the specialized training of Keepers that is required for the players positional development. This will prepare goalies that are passionate about the position for what the college game requires. Held on Lake Quinsigamond, this program offers instruction for high school athletes of all levels—from advanced skill development targeted toward competitive rowing to introduction of the basics. Cool Creations Camp - The Mandell School
At Cool Creations, each week of camp is dedicated to a different STEM project that is both fun and engaging. Campers explore and tackle a variety of situations and use their math and general problem-solving skills to address them. Through projects like designing a playground, rocket building, crafting video games and programming their own robots, students will experience what it would be like to be an architect, aerospace engineer, industrial engineer, and video game programmer. Every day campers also have ample opportunity to do the things that are typically done in a summer camp such as swimming, field trips, sports, games and other fun physical activities. 8-Week Introduction to non-contact rugby for grades K-2nd! Non-contact rugby is a modified version of the traditional tackle version of the game and is an excellent way to introduce the sport to new or young players. This version of the game focuses on the fundamental skills of rugby which help develop basic motor skills and coordination, while also having a huge emphasis on having fun! The Michigan Coed College Prep Camp includes two full days of instruction conducted in a low-pressure, safe, and fun environment on the University of Michigan campus. You will benefit greatly from this camp if you are interested in trying out as a college cheerleader anywhere across the nation and especially at the University of Michigan. Emphasis will be placed on individual instruction in coed partner stunting as well as tumbling, dance, strength and flexibility. We aim to ensure individualized attention and safety for each camper. It is the intent of the entire University of Michigan Cheer Team Staff to provide each camper with the best possible atmosphere in which to learn and sharpen their cheer skills.
