It happened so fast! Only two months till Illage Summer Camp Year SIX! Can't believe it! We have so much magic in store for you this year at Camp! SO MUCH!! And on June 30th you have a chance to help us make that magic happen! We will be hosting a Karaoke Raffle Fundraiser Kickoff Party for Camp at everyones favorite karaoke dive bar, Chopsticks 3!! This is our chance to reunite, generate momentum, raise funds, and sing duets about it. There will be a Raffle with heaps of incredibly thoughtful and inspired Gift Certificates and Prizes for the winning! Donations gladly accepted as well! This one day camp will feature live batting practice, infield and outfield instruction, baserunning, numerous skill drills. Players will be separated by age and skill level: 6-9 year olds and 10-13 year olds. In this program, you will work on developing skills and strengthening game performance so that you will have more success and fun on the playing field! Students will learn how to create images of themselves while making self-portraits. They will practice close observation with mirrors as well as correct use of proportion, shading, and tone. Projects include realistic self-portraits in which students will attempt to achieve likeness and ab- stract portraits inspired by modern artists.
