The MacRostie Art Center work/study program for teen artists increases accessibility to our educational programming for teens while providing opportunity to experience real-world visual art administration and will look great on any resume or college application. Teen artists may choose to focus on experience in exhibitions and curatorial work, art education, event planning, or any other aspect of what the MAC does for the art community. This opportunity is open to artists ages 15-18. For every 6 hours worked, students will receive a $60 voucher towards the tuition of any MacRostie art workshop to be used in the following year. Survivors Supporting Survivors TEEN SUPPORT GROUP This group is designed to offer an opportunity for the teens to talk about the struggles of a cancer diagnosis without becoming a counseling group. We set the table in a variety of way to help the healing process happen much faster. We guide them in real life challenges and allow them to discuss and support each other in ways you don’t see in normal life. Come prepared for an outdoor farm experience: dress weather-appropriate! It's gonna be jammed packed with exercises on great communication, problem solving skills and fun team building moments that bond these teens together. Back by popular demand, Camp Broadway returns to Atlanta with our New York team of Broadway professionals to present our annual classic summer camp. Camp Broadways Original Summer Program enables theater-loving kids, ages 10-17, to develop their confidence, character and presentation skills through ensemble performance. Hosted at the Rialto Center for the Arts, our staff will immerse your child in an authentic Broadway rehearsal process that allows all campers to be successful regardless of experience level. Inspired by Broadways cherished works and steeped in its grand traditions, Camp Broadway is designed to build confidence, inspire creative expression, and instill well-being in both aspiring artists and future audiences.
